Hello, my name is Belinda Arlane, author of The First Temptation, Tempter. It is nice to be a part of this group!
I have ten books as a giveaway on Goodreads.com
I started my first blog titled, "Eve, What She Threw Away." Check it out. Tell me what you think.
I love many genres: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Christian Fantasy, Historical and Horror. I have incorporated them all into my novel. I know it is a bit obsessive, but I could not help myself!
Hope to hear from you soon!

are you a new author, Xavier? Do you have a book out there?

message 1125: by Xavier (new)

Xavier Edwards (xavieredwards) | 176 comments Hi, Taylor,

I've been self-publishing for a little over a year, now, so I'm still rather wet behind the ears.

As to book(s) I've published -- If you look at my GR profile, you'll see the list of titles I've published so far (including being able to download some of the free ones right from GR). I don't think it appropriate to clutter this thread with a list of what I've put out.

What about you?

message 1126: by Taylor (new)

Taylor Grace I've just started out. I just self-published in amazon in July. What advice would you give me to try and get my book reviewed? or even how to get started getting the word out?

message 1127: by A.H. (new)

A.H. Gray (AHGray) | 4 comments Hi i'm A H Gray, i'm an indie author and i have just recently published my debut historical fiction, The Northumbrian Saga. I'm still learning all the processes involved in not just writing and publishing but promoting too. I love reading all sorts of different books and genres, including of course historical fiction of most time periods.

Looking forward to learning more about this group

message 1128: by Xavier (new)

Xavier Edwards (xavieredwards) | 176 comments Hi there, A H.

@ Taylor - If you take a look at the Amazon pages for my books, you'll see that I don't have too many reviews up for my titles, but that's because I don't tend to push hard for them from readers. I distribute free copies to people who want to review, and look through the various GR groups in the genre and see whether they have R2R or similar review activity in place.

As to getting the word out, I think I'm still struggling with that, but keep at it and sooner or later people will start finding your work. It took over a month before I made my first sale.

Robert Hatch | 13 comments My name is Robert and I currently reside in Tennessee. I am on my final edit of the first novel of my series Badlands, a Western/Horror/Action-Adventure/Fantasy series. At this point I am on the final edit of the first novel (should be released in a couple of weeks after my Editor finishes). I have rough drafts of a second novel, an anthology, and a prequel novella in the wings as well (I will keep those projects a bit hushed for now as they might spoil the first novel). The stories are all intended to be stand alone but there are plot points that carry from each one.

I have some short stories for Badlands up on Amazon as well. My links are below, thanks
