Hello! My name is Mirta and I've recently published a Creative non-Fiction, a memoir with a twist! With Love, The Argentina Family~ Memories of Tango and Kugel; Mate with Knishes is a bit like “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” meets “Father Knows Best” meets “Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret.” And for old movie buffs (like me), this book is a nod to such classics, as “I Remember Mama.” At this time, I'm interested in finding a few people who enjoy reading and reviewing memoirs.

Hi, I'm an Australian mother of two and have only recently decided to follow my dream and write romance/erotica. I published my first book
just before Xmas, and it's doing really well. It broke into the top 1000 in Amazon within the first two weeks, which at the time I had no idea was great—again, I'm new to all this. It now sits between 2000-3000, which is just brilliant. :) The second book in the series: Satisfaction
is due for release this week, and I'm so excited!I'd love to chat to other authors about there experiences.
My name is John H. Matthews and I am in the editing stage of my first book, a detective novel. I live in Northern Virginia (just outside DC) with my wife and 14 month old son. I am self-employed and work as a photographer, web designer/developer and run an online tee shirt store when I'm not polishing my book.I hope to epublish early summer!

Hi All - It seems this is the page for the Aussies. I'm an Aussie to - I'm from the Gold Coast. I've just released my first novel Finding Trust.I've been an avid reader for many years and I decided to give the writing thing ago - well 140K words later it's done. I'm now working on the second book in the series.
My website is http://www.nataliegayle.com/

Xavier wrote: "Hi there, Natalie"Hi Xavier, thanks for saying hi. You're the first.
What sort of reading are you into?
Nat
Hey, Nat. At the moment, I'm slowly working my way through the Discworld series, but I should really be spending more time actually writing.
K.M. wrote: "Hi Natalie,Your book looks interesting :) Have you submitted to any publishing Houses?"
Short answer - no. It's been a big enough challenge getting it out the door and published first off. I've got it as a paperback through amazon/createspace and ebook through amazon and smashwords.
I'm now just trying to get it read by a few people in hopes of getting a few fair and ideally favourable reviews.
Have you gone down the publishing house road?
N

My name is Brittany. I recently read a self-published book that was just published
I love it! I don't see the author anywhere, so I thought I would promote it here for her! :)
Hi EveryoneI haven't contributed to this group before but my name is Jayne and I just wanted you to know that my book, The Cloud Seeker is FREE to download from Amazon on 6th and 7th March. That's right now (if you're in the UK!) The link is below.
All the best to all the Indie Authors out there. The self-publishing route looks easy but to do it properly and do your own self-promotion is relentless. Good luck!

Hello, my name is Kelly and I am an indie author. I love to share my stories with people...mostly because the weight of them is too much for my brain :)
Hello all!My name is Jamie Sheffield, and I'm both a reader and an author. I read voraciously, but only recently published my first book, "Here Be Monsters".
When I'm not reading or writing, I'm a Special Education Teacher in the Adirondack Park in Northern New York. I live in a small house in the woods with my wife and son and 2 rescue dogs (Miles and Puck). My favorite things to do include camping and canoeing and cooking (along with lots of other things that don't begin with the letter 'C').
If you visit my GoodReads Author page, or my website, you can find out more about me and/or my book, and even download the first 2 chapters for FREE.
Thanks,
Jamie

(stepping up to the microphone)I'm not actually an author yet... but during my current period of unemployment, I've been working on a story idea that I had some time ago. Planning on self-publishing for Kindle once I get it all written.
Most of the rest of the info about me is on my profile, or you can ask me. :)
