Kristen wrote: "Hello, My name is Kristen. I love to read and I do post reviews. I read just about anything." Hi, Kristen! I have one of my books free on kindle every week-end. I would love a review from you. Reviews are very difficult to get. People tell me verbally they like my books and promise to do reviews but very few take the time. Thanks!!

My name is Tui Allen. I have written a novel called Ripple. It's the twenty million year old story of how one dolphin was inspired by love to an intellectual achievement that changed the universe. It is in the top spot on the Goodreads Animal Stories list and also top of their Visionary and Metaphysical Fiction list and top of some others as well. I'm a New Zealander. At this year's Frankfurt Book fair NZ was Country of Honour. Ripple was chosen by the NZ Society of Authors to represent their literature there at the fair. I went to Germany.
I was recently interviewed by the Visionary Fiction Alliance. The interview is here:

Aloha everyone!Kristine Pierce here. :)
I am a stay at home mom of 2 toddlers (3 1/2 year old boy and 1 year old girl) and wife living on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. I finally found my true and long overdue calling - become a published author. As a graphic designer and visual artist (oil and acrylic on canvas), I also make sure I design my own book covers.
I have been a home maker and stay-at-home mommy and wifey for close to 5 years now. And life has never been better for me! I just love working from home even if I have to balance among the demands of motherhood, being a wife and writing my books. I am definitely taking control of my life, love, dreams and goals…all in the comfort of my home and family.
I love playing with my two babies, gadgets, trying out different cuisines, traveling, and of course - passionate about reading and writing books in the contemporary romance, paranormal romance genres.
My latest book:
I look forward to interacting with all of you!
Aloha!

My name is Larry "Animal" Garner. The nickname came about in 1973, while I was in the US navy. I've always been a story-teller, and friends have constantly told me I should write a book. I wrote the novel "D*E*D, DEAD", making up an entirely fictitious group of characters. That way, my friends remain my friends! :) D*E*D Dead
Hello, everyone. Just joined the group. I'm Thaddeus, and I come from Yorkshire. Last year I wrote Bane of Souls and hope to have the next one out in a few months.Hoping to find some helpful tips and perhaps some good reads (ahem) here, and maybe some new readers too.
Hi, I'm Jamie Marchant. I have an indie novella out, titled DEMONS IN THE BIG EASY. I'm looking forward to connecting with other indie authors.
Hi all!My name is Beth and I have my first novel, a New Adult Romance called Love Love coming out soon. This is a great group and I appreciate all of the support!
Jamie wrote: "Hi, I'm Jamie Marchant. I have an indie novella out, titled DEMONS IN THE BIG EASY. She modestly failed to mention her book "The Goddess's Choice" which is excellent. Fans of fantasy should check it out.
I'm Bob Craton and I would love to compare notes with other authors in the Fantasy and Sci-Fi genres.
Sherrie wrote: "Hi Maggie. Hi Erren. Welcome Susan, Matt, and Ella, Christopher, Aliana and Rick.Erren -- I have a book about telepaths too. I'll check yours out :) -- Sherrie"
To: everyone, re: Sherrie Cronin -- Her book about telepaths is great.
Hi everyoneI've just been reading all the comments and this sounds like a warm, friendly group. I'm Jayne and I've just self-published my first "mainstream" novel. I say mainstream because I have been published before as Savannah Smythe, via Black Lace, but this is my first novel that people around me would consider as "real." Ie., they don't read erotic fiction or don't approve of it, so my six other books don't count (!) So I really am a self-publishing virgin, and it's great to meet others and talk about books other than my own (The Cloud Seeker on Goodreads) I always review books I read, and put the reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, as I know how tough it is to get even ONE review. Just as a start off, has anyone read anything by Stefan Zweig? It's not really a leg up for him, because he's dead ... but this is an author that needs rediscovering.
Hi back.Xavier wrote: "Hi there, Mark"

Moin from a Frisian ;3 Tammy Spahn here, a novice writer of mostly family-friendly fantasy books (only one published so far, Ssalia and the Dragons of Avienot, but more are in the works). I publish my books through Lulu and have an author spotlight here:http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/tammyspahn
The closest thing I have to a blog or website about my books is a (fairly recent and not very active) Google+ page, but I use it for my other projects (like an obscure little webcomic I run) as well, so not all the posts are (going to be) about my writing endeavours. If anyone is interested anyway, it's here:

And that's all I can think of saying about myself, really :S
Hi, my name is Marvin Thomas Miles. I go by the handle, M.T., I live in Australia and I am an indie author, My genre is erotic romance.
Hi everyone, I introduced myself before so I won't do it again. I'm working on a new trilogy, but finding that trying to whip up interest for The Cloud Seeker is really time consuming! WOuld appreciate any tips people have about self-publicising. It's a necessary evil,I know. In return, I do have some experience of dealing with big publishing houses, so if anyone has any questions, I'll try to answer them, or at least help in some way.
Hi All, I'm Robert E Taylor, a writer of sci-fi (space opera and post-apocalyptic fiction). Thanks for letting me in here and I'll do my best not to embarrass myself!Links for the curious:

Robert, I write mostly fantasy now, but I'm a sci-fi from way back. My first post-apocalyptic book was Pat Frank's 'Alas Babylon which I read when it was new (1962 - but hey, I was only 14 then). If you're ever interested in trading reviews, send me a PM or email me at bobcraton1947@gmail.com

Aww, thanks Bob. I didn't mention The Goddess's Choice because it isn't Indie published, but I'd love to have y'all read it just the same.
Hello everyone, I'm Lia (Lia Black), and like Robert, I'll try not to embarrass myself too badly ("we're not laughing at you, we're laughing with you!"). I write mostly contemporary fantasy and science fiction with elements of erotic romance (m/m and m/f).
Currently I have two books finished and on Amazon for Kindle (Spiretown: contemporary fantasy/mm romance and The Loss of Sunlight: contemporary fantasy/mf romance) and about 100 stories on the go at any given time (I think I get exactly 3 hours a day to write during the week, so I try to make it productive!). I'm hoping to find some friends and allies among y'all--we're all in this together! :-)
