Why not use the French pronunciation of Fountain, pronounced Fontayne and the Italian Lucia - Thereby becoming Lucia Fontayne

of course. i will have to look at them a second time...but this crazy online anagram site made me stick to the word "Infra" which i think is really cool. Especially the letters that make up ink. yours however are much practical.

Your brain is in itself an anagram machine and it is a good tool to use to train with instead of wasting time with stuff that may corrupt your hard drive - go to Lumiosity and train your brain instead! Mostly these sites are geared up to make other words from words not proper names, so there is no easy way but the old fashioned pen and paper!

we all have the same issue. just find a name that really sticks. maybe a nickname. maybe an anagram. I like the name Infra for me. It sounds german almost. my first name in real life is also a german name (i am african though)

It would be Holly J. Brock , completely random. I just picked it now.

This is not my real name but I like the way this one sounds and looks.

1. Should I use my real name for genres I love to write?
2. Should I use a pen name for genres I would start experimenting on?
I like fantasy and sci-fi genre-based novels to write.
But I would like to experiment on other genres as well, such as thriller, mystery, erotica, political, drama, romance, etc.
Open to all possible choices given. :)

Hope this helps!

Finally, I just went ahead and used my real name--Jessica Lyn Cozzi :)

Hmmm maybe it would be Brittany "Candy" Ann McKittrick

Or Candy McKittrick?

I like it too, and it is distinctive enough that you shouldn't find a dozen others when looking for it on the Internet.

Yeah

Cool Jess,
If there comes a day in age where goofy or unique names are not instantly heckled (excusing the pseudonym for Dr.Seuss) then I would want my author name to be a pseudonym of my real name:
Grindi Clank Knife

Okay :)

So I chose names that are related, but different: R. Liralen goes on the more mystical, heady fantasy; R. Rommalb goes on the trans-genre stuff.

That's an interesting concept, I think there is some author out there that actually does that. However, it is because she writes both young adult and adult books.

When I was in high school I had a completely fabricated pen name: Selphie Dionysus... The word selfie wasn't a real word back then...

I have an abundance of author names for myself but I narrowed it to a few choices
*Reina Vamdig
*Reina Mavidg
*Inkeri Martine
*Inkerina Martine
Help?

I've seen Lyn spelled that way before, I have seen people try to spell my name "Lyn","Lynn" and "Linn"... but besides my great grandmother, whom I was named for, I have never seen it spelled Lenn. Of course, I try to enunciate the 'e' so it sounds a bit different as well.

I'm still trying to think of what I want to include in my pen name... all I have so far is "Roxanne", or at least some variation of it. (Maybe "Roxanna"?)

what do you think?
i'd want mine to be an anagram of my name because my real one sounds boring

Come on Ingrid, you can do better than that - remember those anagrams I sent you?
