SD put the phone back on the charger and sighed. She knew she couldn't stay much longer, but she never wanted to leave Eve and Tiffany. It would be so hard knowing she wouldn't see them for months, and disappear without a good-bye. It's one of the sacrifices she made everyday, just another part of her job. This is one of the many reasons she never tried to get to attached to friends or places, once you start getting comfortable, it's time to leave.

((I'm going to delete the first part of the role play because it doesn't make sense!))

SD opened her mouth to say something, but Eve interrupted her.
"Don't say it's nothing, we can tell it isn't. Why have you been acting so strange lately? Eve and Tiffany stood and waited while SD stared at them helplessly.
Tiffany stood with Eve while SD stood trying to say something. Tiffany led SD over to the lounge and sat her down. SD put her head in her hands.
"I... I..." SD stammered. Of course, Eve and Tiffany could tell something was wrong. There was no hiding it. SD grabbed their hands and looked into their eyes one last time.
"Good-bye, Tiffany. Good-bye, Eve." She said in a barely audible whisper.
Tears welling in her eyes, she opened the window and leaped out.

Tears welling in her eyes, she opened the window and leaped out.
Tiffany screamed, she stood frozen to the spot. Eve ran to the window, Tiffany follwed.
"We've gotta go!" yelled Eve. Tiffany ran out the door with Eve behind her. They ran down the stairs two at a time and burst into the recepetion. The dashed outside but the street was empty except for a few people wondering about.

"Maybe..." Tiffany looked thoughtful "What about the park? She always goes there."
"OK, we'll try there"
They both ran over the road and through the gap between two houses, leaping over garbage bags with banana skins and plastic packagingas spilling out. When they reached the park, they stood still momentarily, gasping for breath.
"Where...would..she...be?" Gasped Tiffany.
"Umm...Wait!" Eve exclaimed. She had seen a movement in the bushes. "Over here!" She said.
They both rushed over and ducked through the shrub. Behind it, sat SD. Her face was red and blotchy from crying and her breath hitched every few seconds. At the sight of her friends, she burst into tears again.
"Oh SD" Eve said, her dark eyes sad "What on earth has happened to you?"
((Drat, I was going to have her hop on top of a helicopter.))
"I...can't...tell...you." SD managed to choke out between sobs. "You need....to...you need to promise me not to look for me anymore. You're the closest...the closest friends I've ever had. But I need to... to leave now!"

"Then we're coming with you" Eve said, her eyes were hard with determination. Tiffany nodded beside her.
"Wherever you go, we go. We care about you" Tiffany said, her eyes softening.
SD looked up at her oldest friends.
"Are...are...are you sure" She choked out in disbelief.
"Yes, we are. Now are you going to tell us what it going on? Eve said, a michevious glint in her eye.
Tiffany held SD's hand and looked into her eyes. "Let's go," said Tiffany and the three of them got up.
"Um.." said SD stammering. "We..." SD sat down again and put her head in her hands. Eve and Tiffany held SD's hands and told her to take 3 deep breaths.

"Well..."
Tiffany and Eve looked SD straight in the eye. SD gulped a large amount of water and placed it beside her. "I've got something to tell you," whispered SD as if she was loosing her voice. Suddenly there was a huge bang and a scream. SD jumped to her feet, looked Tiffany and Eve in the eye and smiled.
"Let's go," she said and raced out of the door. Eve and Tiffany followed.
"Let's go," she said and raced out of the door. Eve and Tiffany followed.
((Whoops! Sorry, I took to long to write the post, so I didn't see yours... Let's do this over again....))
SD was confident; but once she realized her friends had no clue what was going on she became terrified. As they were running, a million thoughts raced through SD's head. If the Midnight Sun did anything to harm Eve or Tiffany... SD couldn't bear the thought. It would all be entirely her fault! Her only focus was on getting them to safety, no matter the cause.
They reached a window within seconds.
"JUMP ON MY BACK!" she screamed. Eve and Tiffany looked completely nonplussed. "NOW!!!" she exclaimed, the desperation in her voice increasing.

"JUMP ON MY BACK!" she screamed. Eve and Tiffany looked completely nonplussed. "NOW!!!" she exclaimed, the desperation in her voice increasing.
Tiffany and Eve climbed onto her back and gripped tightly. SD took a few steps back then ran through the window and into the air. Tiffany and Eve screamed. "Don't look down," shouted SD over the noise of the wind in their ears. Suddenly with a jolt they landed on a roof. Tiffany and Eve climbed of shaking. "Wow," said Eve.

"Please SD, we need to know, tell us what's happening!" Eve begged, her eyes betraying her terror.
Suddenly there was an explosion near by. The three of them got to the ground to avoid being hit by flying pieces of rocks. Tiffany headed to an open door. "This way!" she screamed over another explosion. Eve and SD ran over to the door and the three of them headed inside. "We've got to get to the ground floor and get out of this building," said SD. SD led the way down the stairs. When they reached the bottom they headed for the entrance. The door wouldn't open though. All three of them jumped up and down in front of the sensor. "I can't take it anymore!" screamed Tiffany. She headed for the reception desk and grabbed a brick. "Get out of the way!" screamed Tiffany and flung the brick at the glass door. With a huge smash the glass door fell to pieces. Eve smiled, "You have skill!"
SD was very impressed with Tiffany's aim... In all of her days being a spy, she had never seen anything like that. Maybe Tiffany had a secret herself. Now was not the time to think about that, though.
"Why was a brick on the reception desk?" she asked quizzically. Suddenly, there was a beeping noise. With a look of horror, SD realized the brick was bombed.
"We need to find another way out!" She exclaimed, frantically searching the room. It occurred to her she left her backpack in her room. It might have been their only way out. She tried to find other exits, or anything in the room that might help her out.
"THE BRICK IS A BOMB!!! WE CAN'T RISK RUNNING NEAR IT!!!!" after quickly eyeing the room one more time, she realized it was their only option.
"FORGET IT! WE NEED TO MOVE, FAST!!!"

Tiffany stopped Eve and SD before they ran anywhere near the bomb.
"I know where to go," said Tiffany and ran to the door behind the reception. She yanked at the door handle over and over again. It was stuck though. Eve stepped in front of them, grabbed the webcam sitting on top of the computer and smashed the glass in the door. She reached inside and unlocked the door. She brought her arm out and the scratches on her arm from putting her hand through the broken glass were bleeding really badly. SD ripped some of the material from her shirt and wrapped it around Eve's arm. Tiffany pushed the door open and they raced inside. They all scanned the room. SD ran over to the lowest window and used the webcam to smash through it. Just as she was doing that the brick bomb exploded. There was an ear spliting noise as everything blew up.
"We've got to hurry," said SD climbing out the window.
((sorry it's so long!!))

They could hear the fire trucks coming down the road. Tiffany stood up and saw three fire trucks screeching to the burning building. Suddenly Tiffany's phone beeped. She took it out and checked it. It was from her sister. 'Have you heard about the building that was set on fire... my office... lucky I took my laptop with me to catch up on some work I had missed when I went to lunch!!'
"We have to go back to the apartment," said SD standing up. Tiffany helped Eve up and carefully examined the burns on her shoulder. Suddenly Tiffany realised what SD had said
"ARE YOU MAD!?" Tiffany shouted looking at SD. Eve looked at SD too.
"I.. left something," said SD pacing the lakeside.
"What?" said Tiffany. "It can't have been that important if you didn't pick it up."
Suddenly SD ran and was gone in a second. Eve tried to run but stopped. Tiffany sat Eve down, "Stay here," she said and ran after SD.

Tiffany and SD bolted over the rubble just as Eve came running up to the building. Eve stopped and slumped against the building
"What are you doing?" asked Tiffany and examined Eve's shoulder. SD knelt down next to Eve and pulled a kit box out of a backpack.
"Where did you get that?" asked Eve shaking.
"You shouldn't have come and SD left her backpack which is full of essentials,"said Tiffany. SD pulled out a phone and it beeped multiple times.
"We have to get somewhere," SD said.
"We can't leave Eve here, she can hardly stand," said Tiffany.
"TAXI" screamed SD. A bright yellow taxi pulled over and Tiffany helped Eve in. Suddenly with a blast the taxi was in the air and they were flying over Brisbane
((sorry that I chose Brisbane!))

((sorry that I chose Brisbane!))

Eve squeaked in terror as the taxi lurched into the air, and gripped her seat hard, despite the pain it caused her shoulder. The taxi slowed as they rose higher and soon they were floating over the Brisbane suburbs. Once the taxi slowed, Tiffany began dressing Eve's burns, but before she finished she pulled a long green tube of something that looked like toothpaste out of the kit. It had no label, no directions or any suggestion of what is was meant to do.
"What's this?" Tiffany asked SD, her mouth turned down in confusion.
"Oh good, you found the burn cream! Just put some on Eve's shoulder"
Tiffany turned back to Eve and carefully peeled back the bandages she had just applied. Somehow the wound looked worse than it had before. The flesh was angry and red, oozing yellow, the blackened skin peeling back to reveal more burns. This 2nd degree at least Tiffany thought, gagging. She removed the rest of the bindings, trying to ignore Eve's quiet cries and squeezed some of the burn cream onto her finger. It was cold and made her skin tingle. Tiffany slowly applied some of the cream to the wound, expeccting Eve to cry out, but instead she saw her friend looking at her in wonder.
"I...I...I can't feel it! She said quietly, with her eyes sparkling.
Tiffany, feeling lightened by her friends sudden recovery, applied more cream, and Eve gave a sigh of relief.
"That's so much better" she said, closing her eyes.
"What do you think is in this stuff?" Tiffany asked her. "Eve? EVE?"
Eve didn't stir, Tiffany shook her, but she didn't wake, just lay slumped against the chair.
"SD! We need your help!"

Meanwhile, Dawnyzkira was talking to her mother via Iris message. "I can't help you, Dawn, as much as I want to. You've tackled worse problems than this, and you're only 1,250 years old", Iris said with a melancholy smile. Dawnyzkira couldn't tell if her mother was being sarcastic or not. She didn't have time for this.
"Please, Mother", Dawnyzkira pleaded, "I can feel it. Eve is hurt. Somehow. It's not clear enough to pinpoint what's happening, but it's bad. Can't you, like, shoot some rainbow power at her to heal her or something?"
"What about your other friends, SD and Tiffany? Can't they help her?"
"They're there too! At risk of dying. And you don't even care. You're always so busy, you don't have time for your own daughter. While all the time, you're claiming demigods like mad. If you can't handle one child, what makes you think you can take on 500?", Dawnyzkira said angrily. And with that, she waved her hand across the surface of the mist, breaking the connection. There she sat for a little while, debating with herself about what to do. In her Chicago apartment she sat looking out across the skyline, wanting to do something, but not knowing what. To anyone watching, she was quite a sight. An unearthly beautiful 20-year-old, with long black hair and dark brown eyes, sitting so still she could've been a statue. Her hair and eye color, obviously, were a disguise. She could barely go anywhere without disguising herself. How could she not? An immortal with purple hair, rainbow eyes and a strong aura of power, just strolling about? Not going to be taken lightly.
Suddenly, she felt it. She knew what she was to do. She broke through her apartment's window, mesmerizing anyone who was watching on the way down using the Mist, a power of Greek magic. She told their minds that nothing had happened, and that the window was intact (which it was; she'd fixed it immediately after breaking through it. Magic had its advantages). She sonic-ran along the Chicago sidewalks, recognized as only a slight shimmer in the air, if anything. Dawnyzkira, minor goddess of magic, was not going to let her friends go down without a fight.
((i hope that isnt as crappy as i think it is; ill leave the rest to you. please keep her in the story, but you can choose what you want to do with her. have fun!! =D))
SD cursed while rifling through her backpack to find something, anything, that would wake Eve up. The medicine was surely tampered by the Midnight Sun, the same people who attacked their home.
"DAWN!!!! PLEASE TRY TO HEAR ME!!!!" SD screamed at apparently nothing. "HELP US!!!!!! THEY'VE CHANGED THE MEDICINE!!! EVE IS HURT!!!!"
"DAWN!!!! PLEASE TRY TO HEAR ME!!!!" SD screamed at apparently nothing. "HELP US!!!!!! THEY'VE CHANGED THE MEDICINE!!! EVE IS HURT!!!!"
Tiffany saw a flash of purple hair and smiled. It was Dawnyzkira. The car landed with a jolt on top of a roof and Tiffany opened the door. She rushed out and raced over to Dawnyzkira.
"Dawn... thank you so much for coming!!" said Tiffany and hugged her. Tiffany led Dawnyzkira to the car and Dawnyzkira hopped in and looked at Eve. Dawnyzkira put her hands on Eve's face and whispered a few words that neither SD or Tiffany understood. Eve's eyes fluttered open and close.
"Yes!" shouted SD. Dawnyzkira pulled picked up the cream and got out a permanent marker. She wrote Crappy Cream on the tube and then chucked it off the edge of the building. All of them laughed.

"Shhhh!" said Tiffany and layed Eve back down. Eve tried to scrmable up again but screamed in pain when she remembered the burn on her shoulder.
"This is Dawn," said Tiffany and pointed to Dawnyzkira. Dawnyzkira smiled and Eve forced a smile back, which didn't really look much like a smile. Dawnyzkira looked at Eve's shoulder and knelt down. She pulled out a bottle that contained a purple mixture. She handed it to Eve. Eve looked at it then placed it back on the ground.
"I'm not drinking this," said Eve looking strangely at the bottle.
"You have to," said Dawnyzkira and handed the mixture to Eve. She gulped then pulled the lid off.
"All of it?" asked Eve.
"Yes," said Dawnyzkira. Eve put the bottle to her lips and drank until it was all gone. Eve fell back.
"What happened?" screamed Tiffany and put Eve's head in her hands.
"Don't worry," said Dawnyzkira calmly. "It's part of the healing process."

In the taxi, all hell was breaking loose. Eve was thrashing in her sleep and yelling obscenities at nothing in particular, whilst the others were squished into the corner to avoid her flailing limbs.
"Shouldn't we wake her up?" Tiffany asked Dawnyzkira.
"No, she has to be asleep for the medicine to work"
"But...surely it couldn't be working, if she's that distraught?"
"We must leave her"
Tiffany sighed and looked at SD, seeing her own sadness reflected in her friends eyes.
"I'm so sorry for getting you two into this" SD said
"And what exactly is this?"
SD looked down nervously
"Well... it's-"
Suddenly there was a loud roar. SD and Tiffany turned around to see Eve, sitting up, eyes still closed, with flames shooting from her palms to the roof, blowing a hole in the metal. The heat filled the taxi, making it like an oven, and Tiffany screamed a high pitched shriek.
"This shouldn't be happening!" Dawnyzkira shouted, scrambling away from Eve.
"No!" Tiffany roared angrily "It shouldn't! What did you do to her?"
"Something is wrong!" SD yelled "What do we do?"
"We have to wake her up!" Dawnyzkira cried "Come on!"
All three of them approached Eve from the side, dodging the scorching flames that shot from her hands. She was still yelling her head off, screaming with both fear and anger. Tiffany, SD and Dawnyzkira shook her from both sides until Eve's eyes flashed open and the flames stopped. Eve looked up at the flaming hole in the top of the taxi, then looked at her friends with a confused and bewildered expression.
"What...what happened?"
That was when the taxi started to fall.
((sorry! very long paragraph!))

Dawnyzkira was shaking with anger. "If I ever find that Midnight Sun, I'll kill them", she swore, her oath splitting the air.
Like an answer to her call, a pulsing orb of light flew through one of the taxi's broken windows, coming to rest in front of the group. SD, Tiffany, and Eve seemed more than a bit scared. SD was scanning the orb like she was checking for explosives, but Dawn calmed her with a wave of her hand.
"Relay message", she spoke clearly and loudly. They didnt have to wait long for an answer.
"Surrender to us", the orb replied with a crackly, menacing voice that had obviously been recorded from somewhere, "Your demigod siblings... are dead. We are coming. We are coming." The orb dissipated, leaving a trace of white mist before disappearing altogether.
It was then that Dawnyzkira fell to her haunches, covering her face with hands, and yelled so loudly it could probably be heard in Los Angeles.
"NOOO!", she she half yelled, half sobbed. Her friends could only sit and watch as they realized she had given up helping her own family to help them.
"I... I thought you didn't like your siblings", Tiffany said, wringing her hands.
"No", said Dawn in despair,"I just didn't think it was right for Mother to have more children when she couldn't take care of me in the first place. I love...loved my brothers and sisters."
Her friends felt horrible. Dawn's outburst was met with a chorus of sympathetic condolences. Dawn was murmuring about how she'd never she Jonah or Stacy or Alice ever again. She just kept listing off names.
"Hey", said SD, putting a hand on her shoulder, "We'll get you through this together; we'll be here every step of the way."
"Indeed", said Tiffany, her heart in pain.
"Thank you. This means so much", said Dawnyzkira, breathing deeply. There was some Midnight Sun butt to whoop.
((it's really good.... well done Proud!))
Tiffany climbed out of the car.
"We have to get some fresh air," said Tiffany sticking her head in what was left of the window. All three climbed out and walked to the edge of the building. Tiffany sat down with her friends with their legs hanging over the edge of the building.
"This is so cool!" said Tiffany leaning forward.
"Oh... I can't possible do that!" said SD. The four of them sat for ages watching the city below.
(sorry, really crappy, i think it's just because i'm tired! sorry)

Eventually, Dawn snapped out of her shock from the gorgeous view.
"We must forge on", she said, looking to all the world like she had forgotten her grief. In truth, it would haunt her memories forever. Dawnyzkira promptly jumped from the roof, using her Mist to assure the people near that nothing had happened [except Eve, Tiffany, and SD, of course]. The group in the roof froze, fearing the worst. Eve peered over the edge, sighed in relief, and gave an 'all clear' signal. The others ran over to the edge, and were delighted to see Dawnyzkira looking up at them.
"What are you waiting for?", she shouted, "I'll catch you."
SD, being a brave person, willingly jumped from the roof, reluctantly followed by Tiffany and Eve. They each landed safely, despite their squinted eyes and flailing limbs.
"I'd appeciate it if you guys trusted me more", Dawnyzkira said jokingly.
"After you stop making me jump from buildings and spit fire", Eve said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Don't worry, it's only the beginning", Dawn said, a gleam in her eye. She breathed deeply, "I love adventure."
"Well, first we have to find Midnight Sun, said SD.
"Yes, and you might as well tell us what you were trying to tell these two for so long", said Dawn, gesturing to Tiffany and Eve. They grouped closer together, to hear what SD wished to say. Dawn felt SD's emotions spike from anxious to scared, nervous, and reluctant.
(( I reallly want to leave it to Sarah to say what she wanted to... I'll delay again and have something happen))
Tiffany suddenly fell to the ground. She could see a lot of flashing colours and her friends waving in front of her. Everything went blurry and she blackouted.
"What happened?" asked Eve taking out a tissue and putting some cold water on it. She placed it on Tiffany's head.

"What happened?" asked Eve taking out a tissue and putting some cold water on it. She placed it on Tiffany's head.
"Oh no..." SD muttered bitterly. "They've hacked into her nervous system!" This was way too dangerous. "Just imagine what they can do to us! They could wipe out our memories! Control our minds! Turn us into one of them!" She was getting more panicked by the moment. "There must be some kind of way to scan our brains to eliminate whatever it is that just made Tiffany faint." Then her eyes lit up "Dawn, do you know how to stop this?"
((Oh my goodness, you guys are epic at this!))
((Oh my goodness, you guys are epic at this!))

Dawnyzkira racked her brain for an answer.
"Well...", she said nervously, "I could possess her body, and destroy whatever is effecting her." Her lips curled in a smile that said she wanted revenge. "Yes. I will take care of it. Stabilize my body, and it'll be fine. It won't take long."
She sacificed a second to brace herself. Then something extraordinary happened. SD and Eve, who had a grip on Dawn's body, gasped as a golden spirit flew out Dawnyzkira's mouth and her body slumped heavily against them. The spirit was pure gold, wearing flowing robes. The spirit-girl smiled at her friends, and flew into Tiffany's body, causing it to thrash and choke. Tiffany's sockets and gaping mouth were shining with golden light. Then, her body thrashed heavily one last time, then everything was still. The spirit-girl withdrew from Tiffany's body. She opened her mouth, and two golden orbs floated from her mouth and into SD and Eve's. They felt a small pulse in each of their brains, where they guessed the Midnight Sun probe was being destroyed by Dawnyzkira's supreme power. Then the presence they knew was Dawn's retreated, leaving them, and taking the probe with her.
"The deed is done", the spirit-girl said calmly.
Tiffany regained conciousness just as the spirit walked delicately back into Dawn's body. Dawn's body thrashed, and regained conciousness much like Tiffany.
And there Tiffany sat, gasping breaths. "What was that?", she breathed.
"The girl that saved all of us", said Eve, smiling at Dawnyzkira. Dawn smiled back; the first truly welcoming smile she'd received from Eve.
Suddenly, Dawn shouted, "YUKI!" Before her friends could question her, an enormous polar bear appeared in front of the group, immediately seeing Dawnyzkira and mowing her over, licking her face.
"Stop, stop!", she said half laughing. She stood again, hand on the polar bear's forepaw. "Yuki, these are my friends, Eve, Tiffany, and SD", she said, pointing to each of them in turn, "They need a ride to stop bad people from hurting us. Can you help them?"
Yuki responded to this with a gentle lick to her head and a bow to each of her friends.
"Well", sighed SD in relief, "let's get back to business, shall we?"
"Good idea", Dawnyzkira said, "where to?"
"Er... We need to get to Pasadena, California. It's going to take a very long time traveling by polar bear." SD said.
((Not sure if the polar bear has special powers or anything, since it's Proud's creation... Want to take it from here, Proud?))
((Not sure if the polar bear has special powers or anything, since it's Proud's creation... Want to take it from here, Proud?))

"Guys?" She swayed a little on her feet "I...I don't feel so good...I think-" Suddenly Eve was blasted onto her back, the flames shooting uncontrollably out of her hands again. Her companions yelled in surprise and dived to the ground. Fortunately, because she was concious this time, she was able to direct the fire away from her friends, but was unsure of how to stop them. She gathered up all of her energy inside of her, and attempted to "channel" it into her hands. The flames grew hotter and larger, and Eve shouted
"STOP!" The flames disappeared immediately and her companions look on in shock. Eve gave a sheepish grin.
"Woops" She said covering her mouth with her hand.
Her friends laughed, giddy with relief.

She suddenly looked at them all sternly. "Do not doubt my magic. My skills have kept me alive a millenia and a quarter. My polar bear will take us to Pasadena, I guarantee it. I am not evil."
Dawn smiled, in a totally different mood. "Hop on!", she said, twining her fingers to make a boost.
They didn't have to "hop". As soon as they stepped onto Dawn's boost, she flung them onto Yuki, then climbed onto the polar bear herself.
"To Pasadena!", she exclaimed.
The polar bear took off at sonic speed. Maybe not such a long time, thought SD.
((does my character seem evil?? shes not supposed to be...))
"You rock, Dawn." SD said, relieved. The wind was rushing, causing her hair to fly in her face as her eyes fought to stay open. Perhaps it wasn't the best setting for her explanation, but she knew they deserved to know what was happening. "I'm not exactly supposed to say anything... But at this point you deserve to know the truth." SD took a deep breath, afraid of the girls' reactions. "I'm superhuman!" She shouted over the thrashing winds.
Eve, Tiffany and Dawn turned around and started at SD. She smiled.
"Sorry, must have heard you wrong," said Tiffany turning around.
"I'm being honest!" said SD and smiled at all her friends. They all smiled back.
((I'm the only one who doesn't have powers! :(..))
