I am a little upset with how they got "rid" of Simon though. I really liked his character, I mean I LOVE Kartik, but Simon is cool too. He sort of gets dismissed.

RA spoilersI just read finished AGTB and RA. I was shocked by what Simon did at the Christmas Party. That was very ungentlemanly. I can't believe how he thought that woiuld be okay and how Gemma still wanted to be with him after. Kartik all the way. The Rakshana and the order were lovers after-all. Which makes me wonder about Amar and Virginia.
I can't wait to read A Sweet Far Thing. I hope Kartik and Gemma end up together and happy.

Kartik was cool, and she made the right choice, choicing love over money, and choicing a guy who knows her secrets over a guy who would flee if he knew.I met Libba Bray, if anyone cares. She's really REALLY cool!
****Possibel spoilers!!!****I think if Simon hadn't tried to rape Gemma then he would have been better for her than Kartik, even though he was who she really loved, but I couldn't stand that guy!! He was being too polite, even for a guy in the Victorian period. Kartik is tall, dark, and handsome. Not to mention mysterious. There's something about him that just pulls you in. It would have been funny to see how they (Kartik & Gemma) would have acted in a relationship. haha.
Did anyone else cry at the end of TSFT????? I couldn't beleive Libba Bray would do that to Kartik after everything he's been through!!!!

i didn't read tsft because I can still believe that Kartik and Gemma end up together. If I read it it is all over.

Simon was stupid. Why take the easy way out with a guy as fake as him when there's a harder trip for true love?of course, when i first started reading, i wasn't digging the idea of a hot indian guy, because i couldn't picture one at all... but i fell in love with kartik during the series

yeah i live in an area in california where it's asian centralso ive met a lot of indian people and not one of them, was really "hot" in my opinion
they were nice (not to mention smart) but not THAT good looking
