Julia and Ashley both talked about Kane. Ashley told Julia that Kane liked her. Julia was very surprised but she said he wasn't her type...
Julia and ashley walked silently back to their house and just texted eachother with the IPHONES 4
Gage walked into the bar and looked around. It was late, and luckily the bouncer didn't ask for his ID. He noticed a large man in one corner, showing off by doing handstand push-ups. It was impressive, but he'd seen better. He walked over to the counter and flagged a bartender "Tequila sunrise with a twist" he ordered
"You can still say it" Gage shrugged "Is there a reason why you're so drunk? Or is this just normal for you?"
"That's fair" Gage nodded "Though I doubt you will. I'm completely amazing" he said jokingly. He did notice how she skipped over his question though. Must be something personal. Oh well. He didn't pry
"We'll just have to spend more time together then" Gage shrugged, sipping his drink "I'm up for that. You go to school here, right?"
Gage nodded "Yep. This is my second year here" He sipped his drink again, shivering a little as the cold burn rushed through his body
"I moved here two years ago" Gage explained, rolling his eyes a little, though he was still grinning
Gage stared at her, eyes wide "No, not really" he answered honestly "Then again, vampire births almost never are"
"So you haven't been a vampire for very long" Gage concluded "Do you have a clan? Or are you on your own?"
"Which one?" Gage was familiar with most of the Vampire clans in the area and areas surrounding this one
Gage was silent for a moment before saying "I have no idea how to respond to that" Not angry or blaming her, just honest
Gage smiled a little more "You're drunk" he reminded her "Sure you won't just change your mind tomorrow?"
"In that case," Gage said, reaching into his pocket to pull out his cell phone "I'm going to give you my number"
Gage handed her his phone, not fazed by the fact that she could read his mind, and swapped it for hers. He typed his number in, then set the phone on the table in front of her
"Got it" Gage gave her a playful salute, then flagged the bartender and ordered four more tequilas, all different styles "I hope you like tequila"
The drinks came a minute later and Gage set them all out in a line "Take your pick" he said, waving his hand dramatically
Gage smiled and raised his glass in a half toast before sipping again "Well, since I don't want to be unconscious or a criminal, this is the best"
Gage chuckled a little, then reached out to grab another tequila and sipped it too "That might not be a good thing" he said
Gage sat back, looking up to watch the football game that was playing on the TV overhead "You know, I've never really liked watching football. Have you?" he asked
"I love books, but not as much as music" Gage said, looking around. There was a small stage near the back with a half-par band playing cheesy music
"All types" Gage answered "There are some specific songs that I love and hate, but they come from all genres. I can play anything"
"Yep" Gage said, drawing out the word a bit "Here, watch" he took another swig of tequila, then got to his feet and walked over to where the band was playing some love song
Gage walked straight up to the stage and whispered something to the lead singer, who gave him a knowing grin, then handed over the mic. Gage dismissed the rest of the band and picked up one of the guitars "Hello everyone" he said into the microphone "My name is Gage. I'm gonna play you a little something I like to call "The Firebird""
