Really wanted to like this one more. It's the type fantasy that I like, a dystopian society set in the near future. But it has 4 narrators, 3 too many. The only one I was interested in was the title character, Emiko, the windup girl. If the story had centered solely on her it could've been a 5-star book.

Light mystery with humor. Not as good as his earlier ones.

I'm glad the Tom Waaler issue has been resolved.

Surprisingly slow and all over the place but still enjoyable.

A very sweet novel set in North Carolina with elements of magic in it. This author reminds me very much of Alice Hoffman.

Finished on 12/22.
Loved this book! The writing was wonderful. Was hesitant about the story and where it was going but I couldn't stop reading. And I'm glad I didn't! It grabbed a hold of me and wouldn't let go. Highly recommend it.

Read in honor of Halloween. Good but was expecting more action and less telling. Storytelling through journal (diary) format is not my favorite.

Not one of her best books. Hope she's just going through a rut.

Well worth the wait for a library copy. Love Eve & Roarke.

A middle school read (read it to check it out for my daughter). It was okay, very mild. Definitely not an adult read.

Holy cow! Utterly horrible stories with the exception of the Robb short story. That's the only reason it got any stars.
Hoping book 100 is good.
