Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments 115 points! From reading The Audacity of Hope.

message 288: by Angela (new)

Angela | 1934 comments Darn Emma, you have surpassed me!! The book I just read did not qualify for the challenge, so I do not earn any points :( I am reading Dreams of my Father, so I will get points for that!

message 289: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Ahh....How do you like the book so far?

message 290: by Angela (new)

Angela | 1934 comments So what does the winner get besides a pat on the back? LOL... I think each person who participated should send a book to the winner of the challenge!! That could make it very intersting :) Unless there is a tie and that would be difficult and costly!

message 291: by Emma (last edited Oct 08, 2008 09:34AM) (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Ooo! Can you guess what book I'd give away? Guess!!!! Just guess!!! (That's getting annoying, isn't it?) A Great and Terrible Beauty!!!

message 292: by Angela (new)

Angela | 1934 comments I am only on page 35... It is good but I feel like I keep getting distracted and I find myself reading a page and being like, what just happened here!! I have a lot of my mind with graduation just around the corner, so I sit and write a paragraph or two and then read for a bit, but find myself thinking about what I am going to write for my paper. I really should wait before reading this book, but I know I will not!

message 293: by Angela (new)

Angela | 1934 comments How did I guess Emma!! ???

message 294: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Yeah...sometimes I had the same problem with The Audacity of Hope. My mind would wander.....and I wouldn't be as absorbed in the words.

message 295: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Hahaha!!! Was it the new (G) in my name? I think I would have more fun giving away a book than getting one. (Did I just say that?)

message 296: by Angela (new)

Angela | 1934 comments Can you imagine winning the challenge and receiving all those wonderful books??? Ahhh heaven :)

message 297: by Emma (new)

message 299: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments LOL! If you haven't already read a YA novel for the challenge, than that would work. Hmmm....what else?

message 300: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Oh! You could put it under read an author you've never read before.
