haha. I'm laughing at you in a good way. You can't finish the book because you don't have time!!! Me, when that happens, night time reading is what I do. I go to sleep late, and then wake up super early, when no one will notice that I'm reading. I have accidentally conditioned my parents to associate reading with bad behavior.

Boo. Thanks for laughing. I do like night reading. But I'm like a zombie the next day if I stay up super late. I'm a person that needs their sleep...Besides I get up at 5 am every weekday so yeah it's harder for me the later I stay up.

Yeah, I think it'll be great to hear things from Annabeth's perspective. I desperately want to see Percy and Annabeth's Reunion. I can just imagine Annabeth and Percy running to each other and stopping just feet away from each other. Percy goes in for a kiss, and Annabeth punches him, calls him seaweed brain and then kisses him! Ah, how cute that'd be.

NO, If so, not for a while. They did a bad job. They completly killed the story. My friend told me that Riordan himself has not seen the movie, and doesn't plan to.

If those movie producers want to make a movie out of a book, they least they can do is do it right. Unless they make a totally different movie, unassociated with the last except by name, it is completely unrealistic for them to even consider a sequel

Exactly. Do a good job. I mean what is the point of making one if you are gonna change it so much? Have you seen Eragon? It's as bad as TLT. They just don't get the point that a movies is supposed to be of the book!

Admittedly, Eragon and Lightning thief weren't too bad if I pretended I'd never read the book. But otherwise it was terrible. And I did watch Eragon. I was scared out of my wits. The book wasn't that scary!

Well, for JK she really HAD to be included- she was still writing the books when the first movie was being filmed. And she was constantly being consulted about details that they could keep/leave out.

Yeah, that IS an interesting point, but we need to remember that JK is a special case. Her success with HP was amazing and far beyond what she imagined I'm sure.
