ABANDONED. Middle Grade series that focuses on different letters of the alphabet

A customer came in asking for a newer series that is similar to the Wimpy Kid books and each book focuses on a different letter - she thinks they might be up to "D" now. In the back of each book there is a glossary with all the "A" "B" "C" or "D" words used throughout the book and definitions. It's supposed to be a funny, zany series that uses a lot of off the wall words, can anyone help??

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, the target audience is younger than the Wimpy Kid books but Barbara BeRubertis has a series, the titles are things like Hanna Hippos Horrible Hiccups, each letter of the alphabet has a title and I'm pretty sure (but not positive) that there's a glossary in the back.
