Hi Alain - just seen this; that's funny, the first story I read of yours I thought of The Twilight Zone. Wasn't sure if it was a deliberate influence or not; now I know.

It was more indirect influence. I've always liked stories with those dramatic twists at the end (Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, Shirley Jackson, etc...). I just use the the Twilight Zone reference because I think helps explain to most people what the story style is like.
