So a person on here was just pointing some stuff out about peoples characters. Some of these things I am guilty of so let the ranting begin. Though I ask no rude comments about some one, keep it blank as too whom the person is ticking you off. Thank you! :)

:D actually, it's nearly everyone that ticks me off with their writing. Just tiny pieces tho!!! I'm not complaining or being critical!!! I try not to!!! I mean.... I'm only fourteen.... And everyone I rp with is older than me by.. a lot... :D so I'm not judging or anything. It's just little bits that bug me, cuz I'm really big on spelling, grammar, punctuation, and especially stories/lines/plots/posts... Anything to do with writing...

And did you really have to put rant? :D

Kk, here's a tip on rping charries.

I really get ticked when someone rps their own feelings through their charrie. Like if they are bored, they make their charrie bored. Or if they're angry... Etc. It bugs me sooo bad. So. Here's a tip to help you get into character with your charries.

First, ignore your own self, it's easier if you are doing it for the first time if you go somewhere quiet. You need to "blank out" basically, like fade out of your life and get into your charrie's life. It gets easier as you do it more, and as an almost author of fourteen books I can honestly say it helps give each of your charries more depth, uniquness, and it helps you be able to bring your charrie from monotone, to any kind of personality there is.

Kk, to picture yourself as your charrie, simply picture their name as your name, take their background, personality, and appearance into consideration the whole time, and keep in mind the situation, and ponder over "what would someone with this personality, this background etc, do or say in this situation." Trust me, it gets to a point where you don't really have to think about it and you can just slip into being your charrie and out in the time it takes to type(or text) the post. If you need a reality check, just look away from the computer and around the room, see how much more or less everything is compared to the anime you're watching, the games your playing, or just do it for no reason...... I do it and I'm like.. Wha...? :D

Now for spelling and stuff, For me spelling can get a little hard becasue I don't have spell check, most people I am guessing are just trying there best. I am horrible at not making my charrie be like my mood this is because of the depression I deal with.. Most of my writing is poetry and completly refeclts me. I write while listening to music babysitting and talking to my friends online.. Its pretty much inpossible for me to get my charrie to be there own self. This is also the reason I try to make my charrie somewhat like me so that people don't get confuse on why my " always happy" charrie is depressed. :)

Sometimes I make by charries real butts and I always hope that the other people I'm roleplay with don't think I'm actually like my characters!

Though I do put a lot of myself in the characters too. But if my character is yelling at yours, I don't really means all the dirty things they're saying.

When I was eleven and first started writing novels, I found out that you can use things from the past in the story for something in the future.....

Ex: In the beginning of one of my books, one of the bad guys was walking through the forest to deliver a message and he was in the forest, in a clearing, and there was a huge random rock smack dab in the center. That was the prologue. There was no purpose to it. It was just there. So later on in the story, for some odd reason that I didn't do on purpose..... I needed the bad guys coming after them, and I needed a reason. (So strange I know! :) So I took advantage of the past. I used the message as a list of Name's the dude was supposed to go after, and then when my charries reached a clearing with a huge rock in it.. - and I didn't do this on purpose either, it was just something that happened. Apparently my imagination liked large random rocks back then - I made it an alter..... Then I realized WhAm!!!!! That it totally fit!!!! I can use this with what already happened and connect them!!!!................. That happened a lot. But that was the first time it happened. Later on, it happened with things more important than rocks.... And so this whole thing that I just explained is to let you know to be aware of everything you write. Even if (on GR) it's a thousand posts away, you can and should remember everything you reveal about your charrie, remember what they do and say and see...... And in your actual writing, don't be afraid or hesitant to take advantage of things, and especially don't be afraid to sarifice some parts for better ones. Like if you have a whole chapter that you don't really need, or you need to change, don't be afraid to do it, even if you think its really well written anyway. Make a copy of the whole thing, so you can look back on it for help, and if there is a line you want your charrie to say, but you can't find the right time except from the place you took out, then they aren't gonna say it!!! It's you who is writing it, there is no "meant to be" about it. Don't be afraid to change stuff or take whole things out. And if you have a whole novel and you don't know what to do with it and you think it's good, but at the same time you do, just think of it as a practice novel, to help you learn how to write a novel or whatever it is, and look back on it for help.

Oh. One more thing. Write longhand. You get ideas out waaaay better if you write out your writing on notebook or any paper. Believe me, it is difficult to type it all up after you already did it on paper, but it helps your writing a lot!!!!!!! Write in notebooks/paper, then when you type it up, while you're reading it's easier to edit while you're transferring it.

Anyway...... :D You better read this!!!! I spent twenty min "texting" this for you guys!!! My hands hurt but I don't care as long as ppl read this!!! :D :D

I got my first idea for a novel when I was twelve. When I was in 8th grade we had to do some creative writing stuff and share them with the class. After a bit kids would beg me to read mine cuz they loved them so much. Which was the biggest compliment I think I've ever gotten! But now, except for goodreads, I don't do so much creative writing because I have so much homework. :P

Speaking of which I'm gonna leave goodreads until school is over..... It's just another extra thing.... But I won't get off until next week on Monday. Until then I'll be wrapping up all my charries into a corner so I won't stall anybody until I get back on after school ends..... Just headsup :D
