sorry, misha and phil."

No need to apologize to me. My post was to encourage mention of those unmentionables in many more than just the one thread someone else suggested. I'm all for using and as much as possible.

message 103: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Changed my theme!

message 104: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Then I will stick with the one I've made! I have a google doc with the poems and everything. Some songs I felt it was a bit of stretch. And I heard a song about California today, and I was like, "Grapes of Wrath!!!!"

message 105: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Britt, you were like Grapes of Wrath?

message 106: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Larry wrote: "Britt, you were like Grapes of Wrath?"

She's a little bit sweet, a little bit bitter, juicy and very powerful, so yes!

message 107: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Hot dog, I'm "juicy and very powerful."

message 108: by Félix (last edited May 23, 2011 09:53AM) (new)

Félix (habitseven) "Hot dog" reminds me of George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life.

Oh the retorts I could make to this.

Misha said: "Janice's discs have arrived. No sign of Barb's sled dogs yet. Do you suppose we could get NORAD to track them with satellites like they do for Santa on Christmas Eve?

As an aside, and without providing spoilers, I really dig Janice's theme.

I'm glad you got my discs and that you like my theme. :) I hope the return envelope is going to be big enough.

Brittomart My shebangedy-bang-bangs will be in the mail sometime this week, definitely before Saturday. Prepare for some literary analysis!

message 113: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I'll make mine this week. Cross your fingers that the temperature breaks, since my computer room is too hot to sit in right now.

message 115: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) I'm glad you've received mine. The Canadian postal workers are set to go on strike.

message 116: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments Barb, what did you do to piss off the postal workers?

message 117: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments The length of time it takes for her packages to travel it seems the safer question may be what hasn't she done to piss off the postal workers. :-)

It took a loooooooooooong time for yours to get to me too Barb. Hold on another week at least.

message 119: by Félix (new)

janine | 7709 comments Hefner, Grant or Laurie?

message 125: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments That's why I always quote before I tease someone. That way they can't delete all of the evidence.

Sarah | 13814 comments Say a little prayer that the electricity at my house comes on before I get home today.

message 128: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart Mailing them on Monday or Tuesday.

message 129: by [deleted user] (new)

Misha, I know you asked for all of ours by the 15th, but it'll likely be the middle of next week before you see mine in your mailbox. I hope this doesn't throw a monkey wrench in your plans. If it does, I'll speed things up.

message 130: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Our post office changed their hours again, so they were closed when I got there on Saturday. They're all wrapped up and I'm mailing them at lunch.

message 131: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Mailed!

message 132: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart If I don't have any more family crisis surprises, I'm burning the discs tonight, sending them off tomorrow.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Mine are mailed!

message 135: by Brittomart (new)

Brittomart If mine aren't in the mail by Saturday, count me out. I don't want to hold everyone else up.

I don't know if it's an issue Britt, because Barb and I are cut off from the mail anyway.

message 137: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Glad mine got there!

Barb, if you've got a mail strike and you're still going to be in Toronto at some point this summer, I could collect yours for you, give them to my sister when she's here in two weeks, and she could meet up with you in the city to deliver them to you by hand.

Thank you.

I is just that I'm so dang lazy it is hard to scroll up and go (sigh) between whole pages all by myself. I really like when other people do my internetting for me. I'm serious.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I love the cover art I stole discovered. It fit my SF theme perfectly, and made my Mr. Spock-loving heart very happy!

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Sorry for the delay, mailed...hopefully they'll arrive Monday, Mishers.

message 144: by Brittomart (new)
