Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ This is a topic where you don't have to talk about the same thing all the time. Would you do that in a regular conversation? No. So, ramble away, and talk about anything, anytime. Change the subject whenever you want =D. Follow the rules of Random Ramblings: be nice, try not to use bad language, and just have fun! =).

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Hmmm...i've been wondering, what are all of your opinions on religeon? I'm interested ;)

message 15: by Becky, AwesomeOne (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
I don't believe in God or anything
Not to offend anyone

message 16: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Yeah, i'm an athiest. I don't have anything against christianity, but I don't like being made to pray or sing hymns about "god's glory". It's quite annoying and I don't like saying things I don't mean! No offfence intended

message 17: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ none taken, i respect other peoples opinions =). i myself am i christian, baptist to be precise

I was afraid of this, just because it's a rather touchy subject... Some parts of religion seem OK, but I don't like it when people are close-minded. I especially don't like it when people are trying to convert you because, augh, it's annoying. I just wish everyone could accept each other for who they are, regardless of their personal beliefs. Is that too much to ask from you, world? Maybe it is, seeing how prejudiced society is now. But I can only hope we'll grow to be a more open and respectful world one day.

omg if you were the voice of the world we'd be living in metaphorical heaven =D. yeah i hate the converters too. i also kinda dont like how people say things like omg! you dont celebrate lent?? you must be an atheist!!! what the heck? just because i dont do certain things in my religion doesnt mean im not christian [no offense and/or disrepect intended]

Yes, I have no problem at ALL with christianity, or atheism or bhuddism or any other religeon, I just don't like being made to pretend that I do believe in it. To me the concept is a little strange, but i'm not knocking anyone's religeon or saying it's wrong, what do I know? For all that we know there could be a God, or even a giant spaghetti monster who controls us from space!!! I just wish some people would be more open to the idea that people are different! I was reading a book reviw the other day saying that ______ was really good book, and then someone commented saying "But the author is an athiest!". I was like, what???? Why does that matter? Because they don't share your religeon, they don't have the same rights as any christian author??? [no offence anyone!]

Oh, I hate that!

The thing I hate most about religion is how moronically (I'm not even bothering with no offense, some people are jerks) close-minded people can be when it comes to people who are homosexual. It really pisses me off, to unbelievable extents.

message 23: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Yes, they say it's "not natural". I hate that, I almost can't believe how some people can be so intolerant. It really makes me angry. What business is it of theirs about someone elses sexuality? The thought does make me feel a bit wierd, but that doesn't mean I think it is wrong! It's anyones choice.

message 24: by Becky, AwesomeOne (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
I hate it when people force you into believing things... I mean... one of my friends in England is a Christian and I respect her beliefs but I don't go saying.. "Oh... none of its real... don't believe in it!"

It really is people's choice what they want to believe in... I don't care what religion J.K. Rowling believes in or Emily Rodda. Because I think that just because someone believes in something I don't means it will change the way I think about them or their work

message 25: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Exactly!!!!!

message 26: by Becky, AwesomeOne (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
Because I don't believe in something doesn't mean that I have to block anyone that doesn't think the same thing as me

Some people could believe that a Gum Tree could have built the world... everyone has opinions and people just need to learn to respect them

I'm good, my extended family is coming over to my house for Easter (well, most of them anyway).... I'm excited! What about you?

Aww, sorry. :,( That happened to me once, except it was a party instead of a sleepover... Either way, it totally sucked.

message 30: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ mah own grandma is anti-gay! it makes me sick how she does that! cant we respect other's sexuality? OMG BECKY!!! do you mean the Cincinnati Reds? the baseball team? FROM OHIO?! i totally couldve met up with you there [im in north-eastern ohio, and cincinnati is in south-western ohio, but who cares? ive got a camaro in mah driveway dat has good gas mileage!] if ur not talkin bout the Cincinnati Reds, what 'reds' are you talkin bout? im curious =). yeah the puking thing happened to me while i was at my friend jessicas house. eww. that really sucks.

message 31: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments I'm not sure which "reds" she is talking about, but it's probably the football team, in Australia.
And by the way, HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

message 32: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Thsi si a bit random but I have (or HAD) this friend and over the holidays we inviyed her to stay at our beach house for a week, and she came but on the second last day, my sister noticed that ALOT of her makeup, jewellery and clothes were gone from her bag. She looked in my friends bag and found ALL of it. She told us after the friend left and when we asked her about it, she denied all of it, only to admit it 10 mins later. And now my sister has realised that 2 of her favourite shirts (which she brought to the beach) are missing, and she hasn't seen them since we left the beach. And Holly asked the friend about it and she is denying it all, but her friend told us that she had seen her with them. So now we are trying to get her to give them back, on the threat that we will tell our parents (who already know, but the friend doesn't know they do)
But you know the wierd thing? The thing i'm most anoyed about isn't the stealing or the lying. It's the fact that I lendt her a book, and I don't know if i'll get it back now >:(

Oh... hope everything returns
I think it's the football team I was going to see

I'm feeling a lot better

And HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter!

So sorry about everything, Gabby. :,( Which book did you lend her?

Once I lent a few books to my cousins... They denied the fact that I let them borrow it months later, but I saw them on their shelf. Unfortunately, there was no way I could prove the books were really mine. So now I need a new copy of the 13th book from A Series of Unfortunate Events, which REALLY sucks because I love Lemony Snicket.

Now I refuse to let any of my friends borrow my books... Or really anything. Especially not my cousins, which is rough because they're bookworms too and will always find the best books off my shelf and request to read them.

What did everyone get... I got some easter eggs, really nice perfume, a new pair of PJ'S and a new outfit.

I mean, I let my friends borrow stationary that they don't have but I wouldn't go lending my phone or anything... 2 of these girls I know borrowed each others phones then one of them refused to give the phone back and never brought it to school.... she got it back though...
