Is it a direct tie in? The original crysis game game out in 2007ish, right around blindsight and unless he was a writer for the game, I am not sure how it could connect.
It's the novelization of the second game.
Thats funny that they had someone else write the novelization since they had a sci fi writer write the story in the first place
