Did you know dragons consider their true names sacred?
Yeah, that's why they're so ancient and few remember their names. Because they didn't go around yelling out their names. But then again everyone's thoughts on what a dragon actually is can be based on what they think. For all we know dragons could have been tiny lizards and had sprouts for wings.
