I bought a new purse and pair of heels. And there was a whole bag of Cheetos waiting for me in the back of the pantry. That stuff made my day.

The best part of my day is that I FINALLY made an appointment to have my eyebrows waxed and my hair cut and colored tonight!!Can't wait to see what I look like when I'm done!

I love Cheetos. I don't get the hot ones though. That's all they seem to have at the store lately.I cleaned out my closet and found some shoes I forgot I had. That's cool, getting "new" shoes without having to pay for them.
I just had the best walk, over to the coffee stand and around the Labor & Industries building. I outpaced all the state workers, fueled by chocolate and caffeine and power tunes. Why was this walk so great? IT WAS SUNNY!!! :)
This is an interesting question. On most days the best part of my day is very early. I don't mean to say everything is downhill after 5AM or so, but I love the calm and quiet of the early morning. I'm like Stuart Little that way.Today I went for a walk, like Jackie, and that was good, though, I haven't been able to work out much lately and walking felt great.
Me too RA- I was just going to post that the best time of day is right before sunrise, it’s so quiet and peaceful. I love the smell that time of day- it smells very fresh and green right before sunrise.

The best part of the best day is every Friday as I leave the office. It is the furthest point from my next workday and it feels like weight gets temporarily lifted off of my shoulders.
Waking up before everyone else this morning (that doesn't happen very often), going into the kitchen, putting the coffee on and just listening to the peace. I was all wrapped up in my blanket, and it was lovely.Hopefully there will be more lovely moments to come today though.

I just took Robby for a late night walk and spotted 4 bunnies!! I REALLY wanted to sneak up on them to get a closer look, but I was worried Robby might ruin the sweetness of the moment by chasing them down. Luckily, my little man was oblivious to their presence. He was too busy sniffing around for the perfect place to pee. :) So I clicked my tongue to alert them to our presence and they hopped away.Also, the sweet olive trees are blooming!!! I freaking love when the sweet olives bloom. They smell so heavenly.
Oooh, Heidi, that is great! I have house finches nesting in one of the evergreens in front of my breezeway, and they're building right now.
For me, it's hard to choose between two, so I'm posting both.
My lovely friend Suzanne had a baby girl, Devon Kristine, last night. I got to hold Miss Devon for about an hour at the hospital today. She's adorable, Suey looks fantastic, and I'm just so happy that Suzanne has a new baby to add to her family.
Also, my nephew is spending the night with me tonight for the first time ever on a work night. He's three and fantastic and funny and I absolutely adore him. He decided that he wanted to sleep in the guest room instead of with me... I peeked in there a few minutes ago and his tiny little body is flopped out in a big bed and he just looks too damn cute. Pippa curled up next to him... she is so good with kids and I am extremely thankful for that.
