Yum!
Sounds good, Evie. We don't go traditional on Christmas, either. It'll be pot roast, garden peas, collards, mashed potatoes, and squash casserole. And a pumpkin roll for dessert - no pumpkin spice added :-) Merry Christmas!
Spaghetti with some doctored-up Classico sauce. Just OK. My mom's soaking her black-eyed peas for tomorrow, to be cooked with hog jowl and served with cornbread and collards. Every year she does this. She's 86, so I guess it's given her some good luck.

A Jimmy Dean's Croissant with sausage, egg, cheese. Takes 2 minutes to heat in the microwave, which is its best feature.

Lobstergirl wrote: "Phil!! What brings you back to these parts?"Hi LG! Very long time, eh? I still check in a few times per year, and I get your updates from Goodreads via email. I think this past year was hard for me to get involved here, what with all the energy I've spent #resist -ing.
I agree, Phil. Resist! The last thing I ate was a frozen Healthy Choice meal that included sausage, sweet potatoes, and barley. I actually liked the texture of the barley.
Natural yoghurt and chopped mango. I put it in the freezer until the yoghurt froze to a consistency similar to ice-cream.
