Malted waffles. Strawberries. Concentrated Tree sap. Apple sauce. Sausage. Day off. Looks like this will be 'my Saturday.'
I made a quesadilla with some Swiss Cheese and a bit of chicken sausage and baby kale. Then I remembered that this is a Friday during Lent. Does it count if the chicken sausage was leftover from a couple of days ago and I needed to use it up?

Piñata® apple.
In the 1970s, researchers in Dresden-Pillnitz, Germany crossed three heirloom apples – Golden Delicious, Cox’s Orange Pippin and Duchess of Oldenburg – to create what we now know as Piñata®. The apple was released commercially throughout Europe in 1986. In 2004, the Mathison family of Stemilt Growers purchased the rights to grow and market the apple in the U.S. The family trademarked the apple Piñata® in order to tie the apple’s two given names in Europe (Pinova and Sonata) with its exciting attributes.
