I just ate the corner piece of home baked brownies. I wake during the night often so I baked them at 2:30 a.m.

My daughter's white chocolate mud birthday cake. It's in a container in our fridge right now and I'm tempted to have some for breakfast.

I sometimes buy Marie Callender. My grocery fresh made deli section also makes them, same size as MC at about twice the price, those are good.
There's a restaurant I went to once in western Michigan...never seen this restaurant anywhere else, that only serves pot pies, and they are really good. It's sort of a hybrid between a fast food restaurant and a sit-down place, you can get a pie quickly to go. I can't remember the name but I think (googling) it might be Grand Traverse Pie Company? Yeah, that's it. They are only in Michigan, plus there's one in Terre Haute, IN. They should expand....I would like one near me...
I noticed the other day MC also makes a chili pot pie, which I will have to try now.

That's an efficient use of time.

New, or leftovers?
New, or leftovers?

Do you make the crust yourself, or use premade pie crusts? Do you put a crust on the bottom, or only on the top?

The leftovers. I had a slice of it for lunch.

(Epicurious: Skillet chicken pot pie with kale and butternut squash) uses a grocery store broasted chicken and puff pastry on the top, no bottom crust. It takes some time to bone the chicken and cut up the vegetables, but it is so delicious.
I had dessert first. Then Sicilian style caponata filed hard boiled eggs: no yolk. Multi grain bread boule and soft cheese. Steamed pears and iced french press coffee.
Am I the last person eating? If so, return to the Dark Side - I've got cheeeeeeeeeeesssssse & crackers!
Elbow pasta with a sauce made from sweet tomatoes and Vidalia onions. Leftover from yesterday. Sauce was boring so I added pesto to it.
