What's the Last Thing You Ate? (hot dog and Costco discussion, but that was a long time ago)
Melon...it was a little squishy. Hospital food isn't great. Starting to crave falafel. :)

It has an Italian Sausage/Hamburger blend with garlic parsley and salt, it has a cottage cheese/egg/Parmesan blend with parsley and it uses mozzarella.
::Looks at Jim and points to TC recipe box::Quit jerking us around fellas and get your booties in there with the goods!

Well, seeing as I'm at work, and the recipe isn't, and we are going out for supper and then having people over after I will try to remember to post it when I get home.
Aw, c'mon. Ala is easy. The only thing easier is boiling an egg. I'm sure you all have some variation of the recipe already, but here it is.2 Tbsp butter
1 cup bulgur wheat
2 cups broth (or water & bouillon cube)
Veggies of choice, chopped (I use celery, onion, carrot)
Dill
Salt & pepper
Brown the rice with the butter in a saute pan.
Add the broth (or water+bouillon) and veggies.
Add a dash of dill, then salt & pepper to taste.
Bring to a light boil, then reduce heat, cover & simmer about 25 mins.
Eat.
Chicken, potatoes & parsnips...very good.
Total toddler food, but whatevs. Sometimes I just need something tiny and non-vegetal to snack on that won't ruin my appetite.
Oh, I eat the goldfish. So does the husband. So much so that I have to reiterate that I buy those for little. The dumb bags are small and he can chow down some days. The chocolate chip graham ones are pretty tasty.
Last thing I ate was too much crap during gaming. It's a total diet wrecker.I did go to Costco earlier tonight, and bought a hotdog for Mrs. Phil and a slice of pizza for the boy.
Riona wrote: "vosges smoke & stout caramel bar"Those Vosges folks know their chocolate. I've tried the bacon and the hot pepper flakes and the ginger bars. I think we also tasted a sample of one with wasabi. YUM. I always try to pick up a few bars in the Chicago airport.
Yeah, I have a serious weakness for expensive artisanal chocolate bars with unusual ingredients. The bacon one is good, but I wish it had bigger chunks of bacon. What's even better is their chocolate covered bacon caramels. The smoke & stout bar was really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the ginger one, but it was okay.
Ivernia cheese on crackers, followed by risotto and steamed broccoli with a light sesame oil dressing, followed by a cherry M&M.
Rissoles. I did have a really nice fruit salad at work before them that I would also like to mention.

chocolate croissant. and cough syrup, I don't know if that counts.
