I'm eating Aunt Nellie's Baby Whole Pickled Beets right out of the jar while I wait for my dinner to cook.

Heh. Dirty rice with steamed broccoli. Somehow I was too lazy even to get takeout.

I don't really care for Cadbury myself. I like good old grainy American chocolate...Hershey...Nestlé. I know that is chocolate blasphemy, but it is fact. Still, I buy it for the mister as well as Toblerone. He really likes Toblerone.

I like chocolates that are filled with liquids and creams. I want to take a bite and have it burst out.

message 3069: by [deleted user] (new)

Remember that gum that used to have a sqirt of minty goo in the middle? I liked that gum.

message 3070: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3598 comments No liquids or creams for me. I like nuts in the center.

Last thing I ate: chicken salad with Wheat Thins.

Yes, Fresh something. Freshsquirt? Squirtfresh?

I didn't like it. My only gum is Chiclets.

message 3072: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments I also bought russell stover eggs. Raspberry whip and chocolate marshmallow.

I've had those raspberry whip eggs. I'm not a fan of the marshmallow though.

Actually even the Russell Stover whip isn't that great. It's too whipped. A lot of air in it. I like the denseness of whatever is in a Cadbury filling.

message 3074: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Russell Stover mostly dissatisfies me. Except for one time when I found some caramel werewolves around Halloween. Those things were delicious.

message 3085: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Oh Jim, did you make it?

I found the most wonderful product in HyVee the other day. They had blueberry scone dough, pre-scored. You simply broke them apart and baked them. AMAZINGLY GOOD.

message 3086: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments No I didn't Cynthia. We have a wonderful scone recipe, but I seldom have time Mon - Fri to make anything. We stop at a small local bakery on Friday mornings and today she had this scone, and it was delicious.
