By "half frozen" do you mean half of it is frozen? Or maybe all of it is a temperature halfway between "normal drinking temp" and "ice?"

I pour it and put it in the freezer for 15 min. or so, so when I take it out it's frozen around the edges and partially frozen on top, so I swirl everything together so it contains chunks of slush. I like drinks to be icy cold so I do this a lot, with water and sparkling water too. Sometimes even white wine.

Last night at the Iowa State Fair, dinner was a lamb gyro with lamb raised by Iowa farmers. Very good, with tomatoes and tzaki sauce and fresh pita.

That sounds delicious. I'm going to whip up a beef and vegetable soup today and hopefully make this rainy day even cosier. Darn! I thought this was the 'what's for dinner ' thread! 🤷‍♀️The last thing I ate was honey toast.
