hee hee.
I had a really lovely pasta salad from Sam's Club: Not too much pasta, some nice kale, sun-dried tomatoes, some feta, not too much dressing.
Sartori MontAmoré® Cheddar cheese. So good. Not a sharp cheddar, but very smooth, creamy, and nutty.

Egg and cheese on ciabatta bun. No electricity this morning so untoasted raw bun. I shall carry on despite this injustice.
Earl Grey tea with a side of honey toast. Add a rainy autumn night, a book, and a purring cat as an accompaniment.
Coffee frappucino, bottled.
We're predicted to have a steamy May, so I'm enjoying this chilly rainy Saturday. The last of the cool weather.

Breakfast sandwich: Egg and cheese on a ciabatta roll. Now my stomach is doing flips. It's raining (again) and we are waiting to hear what the Iowa Supreme Court ruled about Gov. Reynolds' six-week abortion ban. Wish us luck.
A smoothie of half orange juice, half peach kefir. This kefir is way too thick to drink by itself. Combined, there's 630 mg of calcium.
Green beans with crumbled gorgonzola and slivered almonds. Stir in the gorgonzola while the beans are hot to melt.
A falafel wrap with sweet chilli sauce. We ate it with a view of the ocean at one of our local beaches. Today was a mild summer day; the surf was pumping. It was a beautiful sight

We just returned from a New Zealand/Australia holiday. It wasn't the in-depth exploring I like to do, but we did see some nice areas and we had a great time.
Our four days near Auckland (at a beach resort) gave us time to adjust to the time change, and to driving on the left side of the road. The two weeks on the cruise were okay, with several NZ stops followed by three in Australia. I tend to keep to myself on cruises, spending my time reading on our balcony. My wife loves the casino, and can talk me into an occasional show. The last bit was a few days exploring Sydney. Lovely city. Quite walkable where we were.

Where were you staying in Sydney? I agree it is a city to enjoy on foot especially around the harbour. We are in the Eastern suburbs near Clovelly Beach about 7km from the CBD. It's a great place to live .
