Half a carrot souflee and a sweet potato fry. Three spoonfulls of rabbit mac and cheese and a half a glass of iced tea.

janine | 7709 comments Rabbit mac and cheese = uncooked mac and cheese?

Yes. Now I'm eating leftover souflee.

FYI: Sweet potato fries are NOT GOOD until you reheat them.

We should start a game where the next person to post has to eat a meal consisting of the last four posts.

Not an internet game, a real life game. You have to make the meal and eat it. EAT IT !!

message 516: by [deleted user] (new)

An unfair challeng LG, Sally is never going to be able to find and digest vegemite.

message 517: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

The next person after Sally.

If you don't meet life's challenges head on, you might as well be an amoeba.

message 518: by [deleted user] (new)

I am prepared to post some vegemite to the brave person who takes up the challenge.

Lee | 701 comments Gail,

Is vegemite similar to Nutella?

Jim | 6484 comments So do we have to eat an amoeba?

message 521: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
It isn't that bad. You have to eat eggs, tuna, bread, noodles, and tea.

Sarah | 13814 comments Lee wrote: "Gail,

No. It's similar to Marmite, if that helps. Also similar to spreading salt on your tongue.

message 523: by Lee (last edited Jul 19, 2011 10:40AM) (new)

Lee | 701 comments lol....got ya!

I'll stay with the hazelnut flavor of Nutella then!

message 524: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Isn't it like if the V8 company decided to make a spread?

message 525: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments No. It's not vegetable-y. It's yeast-y.

message 526: by Jonathan (last edited Jul 19, 2011 11:47AM) (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments You make it sound so appealing, Sarah. Does it go well with anything, or is it best to feast on vegemite all by itself?

message 527: by AB (new)

AB (a-knee-bee) A British friend of mine gave me vegemite once. I am not a fan.

message 528: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments I'll let Gail speak to the proper creation of a vegemite sandwich.

I don't really know from vegemite, but Zu keeps a stash of Marmite and sneaks it into cheese sandwiches when she thinks I'm not paying attention.

message 529: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Sneaky Marmite.

message 531: by [deleted user] (new)

While marmite & vegemite may look similar. The taste is completely different. Marmite is disgusting foul, puky, yucky stuff. Vegemite is deliciously yummy. It is best eaten on toast with a very sparingly thin scrap over the top. I took vegemite sandwiches to lunch almost every day of my school life. Another way to eat it is on vita-weats, lots of butter and a good scrape of vegemite, you squish two together so that the worms come through the holes in the biscuits.

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Gail wrote: "you squish two together so that the worms come through the holes in the biscuits."

Now that you've explained it all with proper visual aids, Gail, the appeal obvious :)

message 533: by [deleted user] (new)

:D

message 534: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) The worms are caused by the vegemite being squished through the holes of the biscuit, much like noodles through an extruder? Just checking.
