I had to read this book being a recommendation from my pschycologist and in my opinion he is a very good author. He doesn't impose and he seems to understand the teenagers point of view.
Very true. My little brother, who's a really reactive person, says he follows the book and that Sean Covey's an idiot.
Hey! yeah, i just finished this book like yesterday, and i really liked it. Sean did a good job getting a lot of inside stories and ideas from other people, and i liked hearing/reading what other people had to say. Lots of good quotes and stuff. Really good.
Its a good book. But the thing is to practice what he recommends. It will be pointless just to leave everything after you finish the book because is a practical one for life.
Had to read it for school. While it was more readable than I had imagined it to be, I found some parts of it to be a bit patronizing. But not a bad book.
I'm reading this for school. I'm on Habit 2. But this book is really good. It tells you about what most teens are and what they do and what their life is like. And it is to most of us. I really think this book will help most teens and is a great book to us young adults that are still growing.
My HS students read this. Gave us a lot to discuss in class. Perfect for the SR getting ready to graduate -- not sure if the average 9th grader, entering HS, could appreciate The 7 Habits.
I totally love this book! I ma reading it right now and It is helping me with problems I am facing! One of my friends totally loves this book! My sister and my family has read it! This book is a guide to teenage life and It will help you even through the hardest times. When I am older I know what my profession is going to be. A Middle School Principal! I want to touch kids lives because I love working with kids! It is so heart changing and touching!! I want to say thanks to those principals out there! We appreciate you!- Jessica Martin
I tried so many times- on and off again for two years- but I couldn't get past my depression, bullies, arguing family, developing body, secretive nature, procrastination in everything, and my self hatred. But I am in highschool now and everything has changed since middle school. I am still emotial and long for a boyfriend, my family wants me to get good grades, and I am finding more and more strength in myself. It is hard for me to keep up with my PDA but I've got a diary and a comedy collection.
