Okay, Hi guys. We need to disscuss a lot of stuff. Like, roleplays. So Hannah gave her opinion abou this but I want to make it final. So we're gonna create the Slytherin and Hufflepuff folders first right? And i'm letting everyone create 4 charries for each house except for Gryffindor. And we're creating a folder with classes right? Except when a class ends I think we should put in parentheses ((Class ended all students leave)). And then we close the topic until it's time for the next class? I closed all roleplays for now.

Also I think we should have adventures roleplay. Like Dean brought his puupy to hogwarts and their puppies arn't allowed at hogwarts. Dean didn't know that his puppy had hidden in his backpack and now asks harry and hermione and ron for help to get it to someone who can return him.

They must include:
1. How many people to an adventure
2. Where the quest will take place or many places
3. Will there be any proffesors involved,

We can assign these in 2 different ways.
way1. create a topic where people come up with their own and we approve them.
way 2. we can come up with a bunch and people can call them

I vote for way 1. I also think that we should only have 4 or 5 adventures at a time. And we have to monitor these to make sure that they are not dragging.

Ad we need to create a list of Order members and Ministry workers that chracters can roleplay but that's not important, we can do that after all this stuff is done. until then we can play all adults, if needed. "We" as in the mods. Also I think these roleplays should take place in the 6th book, but with Sirius alive.
We also need to create rules for the roleplay part of the group.

Sounds great. I didn't really understand the Adventure stuff...You may want to explain that a bit more. Adventures are sort of like Quests in Lost Hero right? I think that's what you are suggesting.

Also, I didn't see why you made 2 separate dorms or common rooms for your separate and book charries.

As for Sirius alive..We are doing 6 w/him? Okay. So basically this is our own RP? We need to determine if we are following the book or not. That's a big key to all of this.

I think it's best to do 6th year because it doesn't have the triwizard tournament, it doesn't have umbridge, and they are olde enough to be in romantic relationship.

The one where we use our charries, the ones that we made up, should follow a totally different hogwarts, where voldemort is only a minor threat. Probably in the time when Lupin and Sirius and stuff went to school.But instead of Lupin and Sirius we'd use our charries. Except with all the proffessors from now. I thought that that way we could make up our own adventures for them.

The book charries should probably follow the 6th year cause it doesn't have the tournnament or umbridge, and it allows the book charries to be old enough for romantic twists in the plot. We don't have to follow the exact story but we can follow the outline. Outline would be "Voldemort is on the loose, he's attacking, we'r scared".

I'll explain the adventures thing in a second, but for now are you following me?

Adventures are pretty much like the quests except different too. See, for the old hogwarts, we can't have all the voldemort stuff so instead we could have these little adventures they could go on. While skipping classes and stuff.TO create drama. And we would have a chart kinda thing too. For who's going on what adventure.

Also, we should all take a proffesor or adult that works in the building.

hmm...yeah, sounds pretty good.
But, first i had a doubt about making folders.
Can we have like a folder for "discussions/debates" another for "role-playing" and another one for "Suggestions and changes - MODS ONLY".

Also, is it possible to have sub-folders under each folder? if so, how?

It's fine! I totally get it. To make a sub folder in a folder that is called a TOPIC. WE already have the Role-playing Folders. One per house. We'll probably want one for other places as well. The RP is currently closed down so we can get organized. :D

Yeah, and the suggestions and changes mods only kind of goes under mods only, we could create a topic for it. And after we're organized, trevor had this idea where voldemort comes back and there are three new main chracters and stuff, but we'd have to work that in later, we can't do it now. But right after we're organized I say we make a random rolpelay folder that's for totally seperate roleplays that need no planning what so ever.

Hogsmeade trips..
Voldemort - rumoured to attack Hogwarts (then we can raise the defences, ppl can get ready to fight.. and some of us could be Voldy + Death Eaters...it will be a kinda between members magical fight..)

Christmas , Any parties arranged by professors (like Slughorn and such)

It's just an idea...i wanted to noe what u guys thought abt it, unless of course, if u guys had a better way to do it, we could do that too. ya..we could, just a thought.

I think we should follow our present calendar.
Whenever u start role-playing..like maybe lets say June.
So, June here, June in role-play. When December cums here, December there and christmas of course.

They could be ppl joining in between, new members who wanna role-play? They mite cum in between the years...is that okay?

And...why can't we have just one harry potter world?
Like i mentioned before, Voldy and his deathy attacks can be an event.
I dnt think we shld a world according to book three ....or things like that.
We could role-play only in Hogwarts, the lake, the grounds, Hagrid's Hut, Herbology class...

Coz, Sirius , the Burrow, Shrieking Shack were all Harry's or Ron's personal plots/characters. We read from their point of view, abt their life..but Hogwarts is like the common thing for them all.

P.L.O.T - after we start role-play can we change the discussion topics into role-play places?

Second,
What abt rp? While it takes time to set rp up, can we organise a debate or a writing contest or smthin for our members?

Next,
RP....since we have to plan this out, maybe we could come ol at regular times and work on it?

1st. what do you mean by changing discussions into roleplay places?

2nd. Yes debates. I think are first one should be Ginny vs. Hermione or Ginny vs. Luna. As for the writing contests, sine the text is limited we'd have to keep a limit to write up to. and topics you can answer in a paragraph or 2.

3rd. We live in different time zones. right now its 2:35 am May 7th for you and 4:05 pm May 6th for me. So some where between 6-10 for both of us should be good. Pick which one is best for you.

11:00am in the morningon saturdays for you would prob. be like 1:00am on fridays for me. But I stay up late so we could make that work. The only prob is, when its evening for you its early morning for me. So when its about 7:00 pm on saturdays for you its like 9:00pm on saturdays for me. However, if you come on at 6:00pm your time, I'll be on at 8:00 am my time. And lets make the days we meet saturdays and lets try to do sundays. If one of us can't make it in a certain saturday then lets let each other know. How does that sound?

The week after next, it's the last in my summer vacation too...anyway.
The role-plays...y three different worlds?
The Random one is good. We won't follow the book, let's have our own story line.
So it will be like, a continuation of the Harry Potter world we know from the books.
The adventures...wonderful idea.


So, that was just a suggestion.
One world - CHARACTERS : Preferably your own charrie.(you can fashion it like one from the book, eg:
My charrie - Lindslay Personality - Like Ginny.)
PLOT includes - Hogwarts, The Forest, Hogsmeade.
(Under special circumstances) - Outside hogwarts, the muggle world, etc.

ADDITIONS - Adventures(Quests), Hogwarts under attack.
We can come up with more events in time.

So, yeah....what do you think?

And people have to navigate from page to page to RP.

You can leave the Plot to me.

The General Plot i will take care of.
Quests I will help you, and once you tell me, what kind of scene we're looking at, then i will make that kind of plot.

I actually kinda like the 3 worlds cause it gives everybody a choice. You don't have to paricipate in all 3 just choose the one or two you like.

As for the rest I'm confused. Are you saying lets make up are own plot for the book charrie world that follows year 6?

Let me put it for you this way.

world #1 - You create your own characters that you use. You have the characters go on adventures. The adventures can be anything as long as you ok it with the mods.
This is in a time after Harry Potter

world #2 - You pick a character from the book to RP. YOu follow year 6 inthe book except Sirius is alive. You can add and take away stuff from the oringinal plot of HP #6

world 3# Totally random. No one specific year. Make up the story as you go along. Don''t have to ok anything with the mods. PIck a character from the book to RP.

Except here's what you do:

1. Be active. Comment .. A LOT
2. make sure the group is organized. Close dead topics and move them to the archived folder.
3. It's your choice to create new topics or not.
4. Ok any big desicion with another mod
5. And make sure to be active in rp, if you can't let another mod know. Also - pick a teacher ( or 2) to RP.
