The Title Game

(This is one of Cohen's prose works - not to be confused with his album "Death of a Ladies Man" - don't know why the spelling is different...)

At a guess to answer the question at the beginning of this string. I think the spelling of "Lady's" would be a possessive pronoun and singular while ladies would be an adjective and plural. Parts of speech were never my strong suit so it wouldn't surprise me if I'm wrong.

(Loretta, Im pretty sure you arent supposed to copy the entry before yours word for word... hee hee!) The key would be to pick a book title that works OFF of the one prior :p
The First and The Last - Adolf Galland

(hey, no i didnt notice. guess great minds think alike!)

(not quite the post-9/11 novel i thought it was going to be. the first chapter was written beautifully. the rest... was just... ok)

(to keep up with the halloween season!)

The purpose of this thread is to list a title and author. Then someone else must list a new title using a word from the title before, or a title from the same author.
Please try to avoid using words such as "a, the, and..." to add titles.
Let the game begin.
I'll start.
Death of an Ordinary Man - Glen Duncan
