Boys- Benjamin, Leopold, Damian, Aidan, Harrison, Carver, Remus, Nigel, Sebastian, Finnian, Victor, Milo, Edward, Malcolm, Jonah, Rhys, Pippin, Shannon, Xander, Horatio
Girls- Magdalena, Gretchen, Marian, Lou, Olivia, Lauren, Natalie, Morgana, Alessandra, Mischa, Rosalind, Kristyn, Remy, Cleo, Lyndsey, Charis, Gwendolyn, Ariel, Claire, Xanthe, Eliana, Ilaria
I just had to stop myself before I got carried away. I hope these help you, if not feel free to let me know:)
You know there are some really good fantasy name generators out there on the web. if you go to google and type in seventhsanctum.com it will come up with a whole site that has great fantasy names as well as fantasy place names, weapons, rituals, magic spells and other great fantasy prompts, there are also generators for story prompts, character bios, themes and normal traditional names if that's what you're looking for:)

Oh, Memory, I love some of the names you've listed above, (Carver, Pippin, Rhys, Remy, Ilaria) I better write them down before I forget them!! :)
Thanks for the help Memory, Sleeper, and Hey_Jude. I'll look into those websites. They seem helpful. I especially like Damian, Sebastian, Cleo, and Gwendolyn. By the way, are some of those names from Shakespeare's As You Like It?
SInce we're tossing out names, here's a list of some of the ones I'm trying for my new story. I can't seem to settle on what I sound name my main protagonist. He's a twenty something, blonde male, likes challenges, often can seem over aggressive or ambitious and admires people of the aristocracy, if that's any help.
Here are some of my options? Feel free to mix and match some of the names (first and last) Thanks:) Or add some of your own, I'm not really attached to any of these...and could use some fresh ideas.
Jude Fragmin
Monte Vasile
Emmett Aguillar
Sam Cobbins
Lemuel Banks
Terrence Deflorio
Tomas Green
Isreal Sellers
Theodore Riddle
Reyes Blankenship

Thanks Hey_Jude. I've also realized word searches help to come up with names. I have no idea how, but it works.

For myself, I like to my novels titles and character names to be different so I type them into google search to see if it's really one of a kind. It may seem a little silly, but it works and often helps me decide between two names or a list of titles.
I do that too. I always check to make sure that the names aren't just re-occuring memories and that I'm actually making them up.

When I need common (they have some pretty exotic names too) names, I usually browse here. If you need a certain gender or meaning, you can click advanced search and it helps a lot.
