Trying to identify a title

Hello There

Recently I read a review of a crime novel and thought I might get a copy - but then promptly forgot the book's title and where I read the review!

Have tried Googling keywords of the details I remember but have had no luck

Not sure that I trust my memory now at all but I believe the story is set on an island in the St Lawrence River, Canada, and involves a murder in a garden, with someone done in, rather creatively, by a statue

Can anyone help?

That's it - although when I went looking for it I find it seems to have been renamed "The Murder Stone"

Anyway, it's now downloaded to my Kindle. If I like it I'll get some more LP titles
