As a journalist Ellen had a heightened need to know the truth. Do you think this was a good or a bad thing?

I feel this was a bad thing. I think that if she didn't have that gut instinct to always get to the bottom of something she probaly could have gone the rest of her life and Will's without ever finding out the truth. I think that some of her need to know the truth put Will in a position that no child should ever have to go through. If she was the only one that ever knew that he could possibly belong to someone else she shold have left well enough alone. By her digging it effected way too many people's lives.
