What do you think makes someone a parent?

I can honestly answer this question because I go through this in my everyday life. I don't feel that you have to have a biological connection to be a parent to someone. I have 4 adopted children and 2 biological and I have the same connection with all of them. The bond is formed by you loving them and nuturing them. Just giving birth to a child makes you a "mother" but it does NOT make you a "mom"
