Dimitri is smarter but unless he is in major strigoi mode and probs has Rose to back him up he wouldn't win... But in my head little Mr. Sparkle is getting beaten into a pulp.
i think it depends on what they are fighting for and whats up in their lives. like, if bella was dead then edward wouldn't even try, he'd be asking for death. where as dimitri, even if rose was dead, would keep fighting for rose and what he believes in and i think that makes him stronger.

He is actually! Remember in Eclipse with Victoria and all that. Plus he can read minds so he will know what move Dimitri is about to make. He also is super strong and fast so to Dimitri he will be a blur. The guy got his ass kicked by his STUDENT!
