Dimitri would win. I mean hello? He's trained to kill blood-thirsty vampires. So what would stop him from being able to defeat a sparkly 100 year old who feeds on animal blood and rejects their real diet? A lot of people argue that Twilight vampires are built to survive, but what's to say that they have the right training and skills to beat a trained Damphir?

Wow. This question had to be asked? OBVIOUSLY Dimitri!!! Dimitri is a total badass! He has serious skills while Edward fights traditionally, umm... normal punches without special techniques.
Dimitri would win - definitely! I mean, I love Edward more and he's got mind-reading power but Dimitri!!! He's badass!!! He can easily defeat Edward!
I don't think Dimitri could take Edward. I mean, the comparison is hardly fair. Edward is so much faster, and he's built like a rock, and he can read minds so would know all Dimitri's moves before he even made them.I mean, the only way to kill Twilight vampires is to incapacitate them and burn them. How would Dimitri ever manage to incapacitate Edward when no weapon would work on him and his every thought would be known?
I love Dimitri, but I have to say Edward.
Dimitri. He's been training for years to fight Strigoi. Dimitri has a lot of skills. Edward doesn't have any training. The fight would be over quick.
Edward is not a Strigoi, Strigoi can be killed by a stake to the heart, Edward can't. How could Dimitri possibly win? No weapons he could use would work. Edward would know every move Dimitri was going to make before he tried it. There's no feasible way Dimitri could win. I don't understand how so many people are saying Dimitri, could someone please explain how they think it would be possible, let alone the most likely outcome?
Dimitri can kill thousand yr old strigoi vamps... edward's only a hundred and 10 something right? and the fact that Dimitri is Russian, oh well... of course Dimka would win.
Strigoi vamps, unlike Twilight vamps, can still be injured by weapons, they're faster and stronger, but they're skin's not as hard as rock. How could any training help Dimitri if nothing he has can injure Edward?

And provided its a fair fight, which I assume it would be considering both their personalities, then Edward, out of courtesy would block out his opponent...
Also, even rock can be broken so it is entirely probable...

If we're talking about them fighting to the death, then no Edward wouldn't block out his mind reading.

I still don't get why so many people think Dimitri could take Edward. The vampires he fights are not indestructible like the vampires in Twilight. You can actually stab them with stakes, unlike Edward. You can actually catch them, unlike Edward. Plus Edward would know every move Dimiti was going to make, even if it wasn't impossible for him to actually catch him and harm him. I love Dimitri but this wouldn't even be a fight.
Dimitri!! He doesn't sparkle. I think that's been said like 1 million times but it's true.
Im going with Dimitri he can beat Edward because he can think in strategy when Edward has no real training
I love my Edward, but Dimitri will always be first in my heart. Dimitri would win, hands down. He is a badass warrior, after all.
