Roxanne Hsu Feldman (fairrosa) | 10 comments I don't know where else to post this query -- but does anyone know if the users of goodreads have the ability to download/backup/archive their book lists and reviews? After all, all our posted materials are stored in a databank out of reach to most of us.

Bricoleur (David) Soul (bricoleur) | 1 comments Re Download/backup option: its not at all well labeled but it is there!

Go to your "mybooks" page...in the top right (just below the "meet people" tab you'll see a link "import" if you follow that link you get to a page that actually has both upload and download capability (download link is at about the same spot as you found the import link on the previous page).

Download is to a .csv file that you can read in excel or import into most desktop database applications.

ps. be sure to follow the instructions re formatting of the ISBN field to ensure you don't lose any leading zero's from the number!

Roxanne Hsu Feldman (fairrosa) | 10 comments Thank you so much for the tip. Now I have saved all my entries to date and know that I'll be able to preserve my files in the future.
