Louise | 280 comments Ok, this is weird I know, but I was arranging some of my books alphabetically, and I have very very few books by authors who's last name begin with an I (it looks bad on the shelves!!:-)
Can you recommend me some (good ones!) ?

Ellen (elliearcher) Eugene Ionesco is outstanding (playwright), especially his Rhinoceros
Gary Indiana has some interesting work
Susan Issacs has written some enjoyable mysteries

Ellen (elliearcher) I thought of another one-I'm just beginning to read Arnaldur Indriðason, a Scandinavian mystery writer, very highly rated. I've just started Silence of the Grave & am liking it very much so far.

Louise | 280 comments I have like 7 books, where the auhor's last name starts with an I - out of around 1700 books!
Eva Ibbotson
Kim Ingholt
Susan Isaacs
Christopher Isherwood
and Kazuo Ishiguro
Must be a rare "last name first letter" in both English/American and Danish....
