I'm also reading the Secret Life of Bees, and Julie I'm with you there. I really enjoy stories about summer, or a place very different from what I'm used to. It helps me escape and take my mind somewhere else.

:) I love the snow as long as I'm not driving in it, but sometimes it is nice to get away for a bit. Reading has become my drug of choice lately.
280 pages into "Dance Dance Dance" by Haruki Murakami. It's ok. Little bit different from his more recent works. I'm a huge fan of Murakami, but I'm not sure if Dance Dance Dance is my type of story. Still nice and smooth, easy to read.
Started reading Little Boy Lost by Marghanita Laski last night. Quite a sad story, but bareable so far.
How's The Help guys? How are you liking it?

Just started to read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis. Reading both at a slow pace but they're absolutely fantastic :)
I finished 11/22/63 by Stephen King this afternoon and it was brilliant! Now I've started reading Four to Score by Janet Evanovich.
Melanie wrote: "Started The Secret Garden today."I read this book in the 4th grade, I love it and it actually was my introduction to my love of books!
Danielle wrote: "Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis. Reading both at a slow pace but they're absolutely fantastic :)"Perhaps if I had made a diagram of the characters in Anna Karenina ...
Stories To Get You Through The Night. It's a collection of short stories by different authors from different decades and places around the world.
I just finished Mindy Kaling's new memoir. It was pretty funny. I will probably strat heart shaped box by Joe Hill this evening before bed, aka my "reading Hour"
Right now I'm reading Blue Sky Days by Marie Landry. I got it free as one of those read & review things. I'm 5 or 6 chapters into it so far and it's pretty boring. the novel is not very well written and its meant to be a YA romance novel but the main characters who are 19 & 22 talk like their in their 60's! And if that wasn't bad enough, the love story is far too unrealistic, so I'm finding it very hard to connect with the characters. I think this is one novel where I'm definitely going to struggle through it.
I just finished Bodily Harm by Margaret Atwood and now I'm reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke.
I decided its about time I started reading more classics so yesterday I started reading
by Emily Bronte.
I'm reading Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates. I haven't seen the film, but I'm liking the novel, so far.
Agness, I really liked the novel. It took me a few stops and starts before I was ready to read the whole thing. I have wanted to see the movie, but haven't gotten around to it.
I finished "The Myth of You and Me" by Leah Stewart a few days ago and I just started The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman and i'm very excited about this one!!

I've heard from a few people they too couldn't jump into the story from the very beginning. Personally, I found it just fine. I'm glad to hear you liked it though :)

I've started reading The Outsiders by S.E Hinton. I'm a couple chapters in but I'm not sure about it yet..
Brenda (Lansdowne) wrote: "I have heard interesting things about The Night Circus."The Night Circus is one of the most visual books I've ever read. Loved it!

I love that book. It's my favourite of all of Spark's novels.
I am now reading Anna Karenina, The Count of Monte Cristo and The Red Badge of Courage. I love them all!!
I'm really enjoying The Pursuit of Cool. Its a coming of age novel set in the 1980's. Great characters and really well written.
Ellie wrote: "I've finished
