Hey Shawn, I would like to let you know that although i havent read your story yet, i would like to point out from reading your blog, that im quite glad to know it doesnt contain witches, vampires, etc.
But i would like to state that there are many teens (including me) that won't read fantasy, for whatever reasons. I personally don't read magic or fantastical books... including harry potter, narnia, etc. and so this is by no means an insult, more of just a letting-you-know so you can have an idea of your audience ;)
but i do appreciate your want of supplying us teens with clean reads.

I completely understand, Avree, and appreciate your stance and letting me know.:) Truth be known, I didn't read fantasy as a kids either. I was more into historical fiction - which I write as well and plan to put out next year.

As I stated briefly in the post, I wrote Allon in answer to my daughter's request At the Harry Potter was just starting to become popular and we did allow her to read it due to our Christian beliefs.

As it turned out, the story became a tool for Briana to share her beliefs with some of her friends. That is why I kept writing the stories - to the questions of faith, morals and values as result of the first.
