Hello all.
I have been in TNBBC since early this year so it is time to introduce myself. I have already been welcomed by you in that I suggested Let the Great World Spinand was absolutely chuffed that it became book of the month for March.
I fell into bad reading habits - down to 2 a year and then only crime novels, and so I joined a book club at the local library a few years ago and then joined Good Reads. I have enjoyed all the suggestions and find the discussions encouraging. My first target is to read a book every two weeks and maybe we can get back to two books a week which is what I used to read.

I am well placed in Galway to enjoy literature - Cuirt festival next week, and the arts in general. I love a good play that is performed well.

Otherwise I enjoy the outdoors - in particular sailing. I am looking forward to the new season on Galway Bay, where I live. I also enjoy hillwalking. My most recent new interest is studying geology in an evening diploma course.
