I honestly have no idea, but I do believe they will do it, you can never doubt the American government. But, alas, its not my problem, I'm Canadian.
Well they decided not to do one but a govt shutdown os when they stop everything that had to do with federal funding except mail and school. So basically federal clinics, federal help, and etc. they did it before and or was a disaster *roll eyes*.
I'm not sure what I think...it just depends on the results. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and this may be one of them. Sorry, I felt the need to say some dumb words of wisdom line. :)
I heard about that...it has to do with money right? they can't pay the government workers so they have to close the federal offices ect..

Yea your right Graziella, it's about the money and trying to figure out what changes need to happen in anything that is federal funded. So that Includes healthcare too. Also I think your right that anything that happens over here would affect Canada b/c we are neighbors and good example as sad as it is :(

No, my dad said our economy's strong, and he was pretty confident we would be fine.
Yeah but your missing the point. Canada's economy is dependant on the US. We export and import stuff to and from the US every day. This will say it all:
International trade makes up a large part of the Canadian economy, particularly of its natural resources. In 2009, agricultural, energy, forestry and mining exports accounted for about 58% of Canada's total exports.[11] Machinery, equipment, automotive products and other manufactures accounted for a further 38% of exports in 2009.[11] In 2009, exports accounted for approximately 30% of Canada's GDP. The United States is by far its largest trading partner, accounting for about 73% of exports and 63% of imports as of 2009.[12] Canada's combined exports and imports ranked 8th among all nations in 2006.[13]
