kristen stewart is not bella. the book was before the movie and how ever you saw bella before the movie is how you should see her. I read the books and how I see bella is not the same as the character in the movie and honestly I like my version of bella way better than kristen stew.
The Host! She needs to turn it into a series but got caught up in Twilight. Meyer probably doesn't even know she wrote the Host. Haha!

She actually doesn't want to continue The Host because she said she would have to kill people off and she doesn't want to do that.

I was kidding. I don't care why she doesn't want to continue the Host. If what you say is true, that is a waste of talent. I doubt she will write anything else, since she hasn't already. If she does it will probably be something stringing from Twilight. Boo.

i enjoyed both books, but it did take me a while to get into THE HOST, the THE HOST had more in it then just love.

Wow! Nice to see so many people agree about The Host. Reader comments were wonderful.

I was actually not satisfied at the ending as much as I wanted to be. I found the beginning, middle, and end to be rather boring.

I noticed that too. And quite frankly I can't really see why Edward was so attracted to Bella (aside from the smell of her blood). She was such a boring, one dimensional character. She wasn't into music, had no hobbies and her remarks were always bland and lacked amiable personality and character. How can Edward, who was over 100 years old and had seen the world, find her to be "the one"?

For the open minded, its still great that people have different opinions AND aren't afraid to express them.

Thanks, Kristen. You're very kind.

Bella liked music, she had a fondness for classical music and she enjoyed reading. Her remarks were usually sarcastic and she was sometimes rather funny, in my opinion.

Indeed. The host is so much better than the whole Twilight-saga. I would so recommand it to Twilight-haters.

to be honest, i read all 4 twilight books. as 4 the Host...i abandoned it. but after reading this blog...i feel like i should pick it back up...what do u guys think? but for the record, im pretty sure i only read all the twilights because of all the publicity. anyways, about the host...

I think I loved Twilight so much more because I read it prior to reading The Host and I also read Twilight before reading any other vampire books, so it was ground breaking for me.
