Jimmy I find that very encouraging. I had always thought it was hopeless that such a thing could happen.

Paul Perry (pezski) | 122 comments I feel sorry for the people in these countries; it probably means that the Evangelicals will target them for 'saving'! Although that said, when Mormons or Witnesses come to my door, if I have time i like to invite them in and shake their faith. It's often funny how remarkably little they know of their own religions.

Melki | 211 comments When my friend Jill moved here from England in the 60s, she could not get over America's obsession with religion (or as she put it "All this crap!" ) I've encouraged both my sons to head for Canada and England
when they're older - free healthcare and freedom from
religious tyranny - what more can you ask for!
AND way to go, Pezter on your little tete a tetes with
the door-to-door religion peddlers! I used to enjoy playing "Stump the Witness" with my weekly visitor when I lived in Pittsburgh. "Why does everyone hate the Jews?" "Why is it wrong to abort a fetus, but okay to deny that child a blood transfusion as a 10-year-old?" She couldn't answer me, and eventually gave up on trying to save my dark and crusty soul.
