I'd say The Mortal Instruments series. I love those books with a passion, they are so filled with action, romance, and just overall awesome characters. Plus, I love Sebastian :)

I love both the series so much! I actually read 'The Fallen' first and fell in love with the idea of Nephilim. After recommendations of books with Nephilim I read 'The Mortal Instruments' and really enjoyed it. The series has so much personality, and I love the humor with Jace and Simon around.

Both are a good read to me, and I'm not one to pick favourites. But the only thing with 'The Fallen' is that I never seemed to enjoy 'Leviathan' very much. Though my friend told me it was her favourite book!

But If I had to pick, I'd say The Mortal Instruments... just. I just love those two boys, and how so many things seem to be addressed in the series, such as homosexuality ;) I also love the random anime references Cassandra drops in.

Theo Mortal instruments was way better! I read the Fallen after and loved it but the characters of the mortal instruments were more deep and compelling.

yeah, i agree. i read Fallen afterwards too, and i loved the book, but he didnt really go in depth with the characters. in the Mortal Instruments series, she gets really in depth, and makes us feel like we know the characters personally.

Booklover baker I don't know how you can compare these two books

I started with the fallen as well, and it was the first book of this type that I had ever read. I've become very enthralled with books on the subject. I've also read the mortal instruments series as well. I like both of them a lot! I want to read the second book in the fallen, which is really the third and forth book.

I've started reading the second book, and it is quite good so far.

Jennifer I love both of the Fallen books (1 & 2)...The story line flip flops and kind of drys out a lil here and there..but other than that..They are awesome. I dont want to give away any juicy parts...But Aerie...OMG... Wait till u read it..!!

Jennifer But i see that you are all talking about another nephilim book... The mortal Instruments...Who is the author so i can read that one as well ? You can Msg me with it on here or Email it to me. Diferentfromthem@aol.com. Also there was another book series i read that had nephilims in it which kinda gave me the heads up on who they are..i just cant remember which series.. I read alot of vampire series. Teen and Adult... I believe it was the Thrist Series by Christopher Pike who mentioned Nephilims.. Thats a good series to get into as well...!! Very juicy.. I would read as long as i could hold my eyes open...

The Fallen is by Thomas E. Sniegoski.

I love books with Nephilim! Far rather read about them then Vampires, but that is mainly because so many of them involve so much romance. I would love to read a good one that isn't though, because they are still cool.

Claire That's and easy one........The Fallen might be a good read but THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS books are awesome!!!!!

Alice Definately TMI!!! I love everything about them and they ALWAYS keep me on the edge of my seat. Plus I love the characters although Jace annoys me sometimes.....

I don't either. One set is OK but the other is sick. I am sorry I am reading Leviathan which is the second part of the Fallen.

To whom may concern:
I appreciate both series so much I read (The Fallen #1) The Fallen First which wetting my hunger for angels stories. So I went on a search book on angels. I search for years. Then I came across immortal instruments which took I half a years to just make a decision to read the immortal instruments because I could not find a good book description. I didnot even know it was about angels and until I came across the movie trailer and then research on Wikipedia then I discover the immortal instruments about nephilim then I had to read it. And I feel in love with the immortal instruments. And other book angels and nephilim book. Like hush hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
Fallen by Lauren Kate and others.

Best regard

Clarisse Grey The Fallen, hands down. I enjoyed TMI, but to be honest, I found Clary a little whiney (Sorry to TMI fans) and there were too many similes and metaphors in TMI. I loved The Infernal Devices more than the Mortal Instruments.
