Valora nodded a little and opened her eyes, shifting to rest her head on his shoulder.

Valora looked around them and sighed quietly. "Will they find us here?"
Valora nodded. "Okay"
Valora nodded quickly and checked her phone, but finding it wasn't working she went in search of a phone in the house.
Valora eventually found a phone and quickly dialed the number for their friend.
She listened to it ring for a brief moment before it was answered by her friend. "Hello?"Valora let out a deep breath. "Are you all okay?"
"Yeah... we're fine. What happened?"
"Aliens invaded. We'll get there as soon as we can. Watch closely for invasions there. I don't know if they're going to hit there soon or not."
"Oh....." The was silence on the other end for a moment.
"Yeah. Our phones aren't working but I'll try and keep in contact. Okay?" Valora asked.
"Yeah, um, okay. Should I contact the news?"
"they'll know soon enough. Just be ready."
"Okay."
"I have to go. Bye."
"Bye."
Valora set down the phone and walked over to John.
Valora nodded nervously. "Is there a car here?"
"How will we travel then?"
"Good idea." she nodded, then paused and asked, "What if they see in the dark? Or... or they run on a different time and are wide awake at night?"
She kissed back and nodded. "Okay."
Valora nodded again.
Valora looked around them then asked, "Which way?"
"Okay...." She nodded a little.
Valora pulled him closer to her, blinking up at the space ship. "That was close...."
She nodded and ran to the back door.
Valora bit her lip and looked over at John. She didn't like the sound of all those screams. It brought back too many bad memories.
She stuck close to him as she followed him.
She gripped his hand tighter, stopping and looking in the direction of the crying babies.
She slowly followed him. "Will they be okay?" she murmured
"John?" She looked up at him. ((g2g))
"But will the babies be okay?" She asked, a little nervously. She didn't want them to die....
Valora stopped walking and looked over at him.
She frowned at him. "Will they be okay?"
"Will they be okay?!" She asked again. Ignoring the babies crying felt like ignoring their own kids. She didn't like it at all...
"Can we save them?" She begged, looking close to tears
She looked up at him pleadingly. "You wouldn't leave them behind if they were our kids!"
She glanced around then followed him up.
Valora looked around them then at John, "Can we help them all?"
Her eyes went wide in shock and she rushed over to take the baby from him, glaring at him as she held it close to her. "What's wrong with you, John?"
"Why can't we take them with us?" Valora murmured, looking down at the baby she was holding.
Valora frowned at him, tears forming in her eyes. What was up with him? He was being very bossy and angry lately.... She looked around and picked up a second baby, wishing she could take all of them. She didn't want to leave then all defenseless like this... they didn't deserve that.
"You're going to kill then?" She asked, horrified. It sounded better to her for them to be taken by the aliens.
Tears started to slide down her cheeks as she turned and left the room. Unable to believe he was actually going to kill them.
Valora waited at the end of the hall as she tried to get the two babies to quiet down. Tears were still sliding down her cheeks. How could anyone hurt the cute little things?!
Valora looked over at him and sighed quietly before looking down at the babies.
"This one," She lifted her left arm a little to show him which she was talking about, "is a girl." She lifted her other arm. "And this one is a boy." Valora hugged them gently to her.
Valora shook her head. "That's not fair."
"No. I don't. But we can at least try and help these two. We can't do that for everyone else, but we can help these two so we have to try." Valora murmured, a little scared of her husband right now.
Valora started to cry. She didn't answer, she just cried.
She nodded a little and carefully got to her feet, not looking at him.
She took it back quickly, frowning at him. She wasn't sure she trusted him with one of them.
"Only if you promise we won't leave them if they get noisy." She said stubbornly.
Valora sighed quietly and followed him with the two sleeping babies.
"Let's go." She murmured, stepping outside.
She wandered into the gas station and grabbed a bag. She filled it with some things for the babies along with some snacks for her and John. There wasn't really any true, filling food here, but oh well....
She sighed quietly and looked around for John. "Okay. Did you find anything good?"
"I don't know. Half a year, maybe?" She looked at the two babies, who were somehow still asleep.
Valora rolled her eyes. "I'm a girl. We don't really need bottles. But I got some things for them anyway. And some snacks for us."
