Wow...never heard of it.

Ah, that explains it, not available for Netflix streaming. I hardly ever watch regular tele. We only bought cable in 2010 for the winter Olympics and kept it, because our Internet was cheaper with it bundled.

Is it a sitcom?

It is a sitcom. It's on Hulu if you have it. Wonderful take on a quirky detective murder mystery show.

Chris (bibliophile85) The Smoking Man - The X-Files
Fox Mulder - The X-Files
George Costanza - Seinfeld
Willow Rosenburg - Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The Fourth Doctor - Doctor Who

Susan | 6406 comments Mork - Mork and Mindy
Scully - X-Files
Kramer - Seinfeld
Sylar - Heroes
Dexter - Dexter

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm with you on Willow and Mulder, Christopher...but George? GAH! Made me want to stab myself in the ears.

Susan, Sylar? The BAD GUY? Wha? Admittedly, I stopped watching around season 3-ish.

message 111: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I couldn't help it. He was really good at being really bad. Later in the series they went into how he was turned bad (or was it in the future?). Anyways, he was really sweet at one point.

message 112: by [deleted user] (new)

He is quite handsome and he did a good job playing a young Spock on Star Trek.

message 113: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments He is handsome! That might have helped with my love for his bad guy character. I wanted to see the Star Trek movie for the sole purpose of watching him play the role of Spock.

message 114: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, it could have gone really, really bad. But, he pulled it off well.

I hated both George and Kramer. Passionately. Wanted to stab them to death.

message 116: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I get that.

I liked Elaine and all her boyfriends. Seinfeld (the character) was ok.

message 118: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Elaine was my favorite.

message 119: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, Elaine. The others depended on the day. Except George. Always loathed George.

message 120: by Chris (new)

Chris (bibliophile85) I think I liked George so much just because of what a loser he was. He was always scheming and manipulative and it NEVER worked in his favor.

I still say one of my all time favorite Seinfeld jokes is when Elaine gets George a job at her publishing company and he has sex with the female janitor and gets caught by the boss....you can see him going through like a mental roledex of excuses to give when he finally come sup with "....was that wrong? Should I not have done that?"

Hilarious.

Or, when he pees in the shower at the gym. That was a good one.

message 122: by [deleted user] (new)

Columbo makes me nuts...

message 123: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments All In The Family = most annoying TV show theme song.

message 124: by [deleted user] (new)

What? Susan...that is comedy brilliance right there!

message 125: by Chris (new)

Chris (bibliophile85) Agreed :) They don't make 'em like they used to.

message 126: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Noooooo! That voice! I just cannot get past Jean Stapleton's voice. I would run out of the room until the song was over. Everything else about the show was very funny.

message 127: by [deleted user] (new)

But, it's SUPPOSED to be annoying. That's part of the funny.

message 128: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I know. It does not fail.

Me toooooooooo!!!!!!!!

In fact I wanted to stab the whole cast of characters. If a Seinfeld rerun comes on I bolt for the remote to change the channel"

One more reason to love Bun.

message 134: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, yes, I love Brennan & Booth.

Mulder...I had such a crush on him.

message 135: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Fox. It was such an appropriate name.
