Finally finished, didn't want to put it down and I didn't want it to end. I have loved many books and gushed over them. I don't know if I can simply say i loved this book cause when I think of my fave books I doubt this will be one, its almost more than that. To put it simply the story spoke to me, it floored me, surprised me, and truly amazed me. I wasn't prepared for this book, I wasn't prepared for a zombie book to be more than fluff and fun, this had heart.
Haha sorry! Like I said it was just one of those rare books that spoke to me. What's weird is that the characters aren't truly the strength of the story and you know how I am about great characters. The story is actually better than the characters. I mean they are good soild characters but a little stagnat, a little to cut and dry yet the story doesn't suffer for it.
Huh. That's interesting. I'm kinda curious as to how the story is greater than the characters now. o.o
I'm so not describing it right but that's the best way I can put it. The characters are already in some aspects fully realized as characters and I think the author did that because there isn't much character growth. There doesn't really need it. Yet I'm still in the mindset that it doesn't weaken the story because of that fact. Now some of the other ppl who have read it say the same thing about little character growth and feel the story lacks because of it. So really its a matter of personal opinion. And I really fear building this book up too much that it will not meet the expectations I'm setting. The main thing that I loved was that for me it was completely unexpected. It wasn't just a shoot them up zombie fest. I hadn't read any of the reviews so I had no expectancy for it, which is really the fun of reading for me, when I get that rare book that truly takes me by surprise.

I will post a true review later but I just had to tell ppl how much you need to read this book.
