Absolutely positively LOVE. I read this when I was around 10 years old & it has stayed with me ever since. I re-read it every now & again & fall in love with the story all over again.

well, its hard to say because i like the whole jist of it, but i dont like how it just suddenly reveals the death of grams and chanasen (sugar) it would be a great book if nobody died in it.

I loved this book so much l stole the copy from my teacher's 4th grade in-room library. I still have it and l'm 25 now. I've read it more times than l can count and the older l get, the more perspective l get on every facet of the story. I wish l came across books this good more often, but then l guess it wouldn't be as special.

it was okay. i mostly liked phoebe's parts and the part where Sal finds out her mother was killed. so tragic.

It is part of the curriculum that I teach, and, while it is like being reacquainted with an old friend, I always pick up something new each time

I loved this book cuz i think it expressed really deep feelings while entwining it with a life story. It is a favorite of mine and I love it with all the heart that is in my being. I feel it is the perfect book to teach an important lesson about family, fate and love.

      Liked. Sort of.

Merely liked. I think I would've liked it better had it not been a school assignment... there's something about dissecting a book that makes it less appealing. It was good, though.

This book's plot was not my favorite, but that's not what I liked about the book. I loved the various messages, stories, secrets, and stories within stories that were in the book and made me really think about the book a lot.

I really like this book, because it have wonderful quotations. My favorite one is "You can't keep the birds of sadness flying over your head but you can keep them from nesting in your hairs." :)

Mine is the one on the cover (or at least mine)
Mine is the one on the cover (or at least mine)“Don't judge a man until you have walked two moons in his moccasins.”
