Becky (beckyofthe19and9) I have to concur with Scott here. This is a spoiler thread, and Courtney marked her post clearly.

I'm sorry it was spoiled for you though, Angelica.

Ciqu Book 8 (The Wind Through The Keyhole) coming out in 2012!!! :) I am sure many know about this already! I can't explain the level of my excitement. I may have to re-read them all to remember all the details that I am sure he will allude to in his 8th book!

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) It's actually supposed to be book 4.5, chronologically anyway, since it takes place before they arrive at the Callas.

I'm really excited though. :D

Dustin I am very much excited about The Wind Through The Keyhole. And I'm definitely planning on a re-read of the series (it is LONG overdue!!)

My favourite Dark Tower Novel was Wizard and Glass. I loved that book so much mainly because he took us back to Roland's youth and explained a lot about his past. The characters Ria, Susan, Cuthbert, Alain were all so intriguing and it was the one book I was saddest to leave behind... So your news makes this new instalment even more exciting for me!

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) W&G is my least favorite of the series, actually. I loved learning about Roland's past, but I thought that the "young love" aspect overwhelmed the story, and I wanted more of Gunslinger Roland rather than Horny Roland.

But, Wind through the Keyhole is supposed to be set in the present of the quest, rather than in the past. And Wolves is my favorite of the series (or tied for it at least) so I'm looking forward to see how they get there. :)

Jennifer Shadford | 2 comments I'm feeling very out of touch - this is the first I'd heard of another DT book ... do we think is this going to be a proper 8th book in the series or likely to be a Black House / Eyes of the Dragon style linked story making reference to the series?

Becky (beckyofthe19and9) It is going to be an actual addition to the series, featuring Roland, Eddie, Susannah, Jake and Oy, set between Wizard and Glass & Wolves of the Calla.

Jennifer Shadford | 2 comments Excellent, thank you.
I'll look forward to reading it - and re-reading the first four beforehand and the rest again afterward... that's fixed much of next year for reading material!
