have any of you guys ever tried to describe dancing? in writing i mean? i think it is impossible! i've tried a few stories that have dancers in them, but I can't get it right. When it comes to describing something so passionate, so soulful as a dance, I slaughter it. Even books I've read about dancers... it doesn't feel right to me. any advice?

hmmm ... i wrote a poem about a dancer once. it was really weird. i don't know where it went ...
i wrote some other poem about dancing too. maybe i'll look for these poems cuz that would probably be more helpful. lol.

haha i can write poems about dancing... i don't know why but it's easier fo rme. but trying to sincerely describe the character and the way dancing effects her, or the way she dances. *sigh* it's always so cheesey or hollow. i can't get it right!
